I loved the set up of the hotel how the balcony was looking to outside with beautiful view of the man made garden. It'd be nice if we could order movies on pay per view and maybe a larger continental breakfast.but the price what can you expect. Other than that the stay was amazing. Perfect hotel for an individual going just to see Vancouver who wont spend so much the at the hotel. As i stated above no pay per view movies and small breakfast. Also no spa but what can you expect. If you want a pool or hot tub in suite : do not go to this hotel. Although I'm sure there are locations not far.

The staff was great. I liked having a fridge and coffee. I liked the items in the vending machine and I liked the breakfast. I liked the green space in the middle and hearing the birds in the morning. I checked in late (11pm) so it was understandable that I could not change rooms that night after being told my room would be by the exit door. I am a light-sleeper and immediately asked for a different room. Sure enough, the door lacked air pressure and slammed a lot and I did not sleep well. Hair in the shower, first room; soap scum in the shower second room plus I couldn't get the hair dryer to work. The fridge froze my carrots. The rooms could not be completely dark. Had a lot of trouble with the key. When I would finally get it to green, there was not enough time to open it.

front desk clerks were good visa debit rule (putting the money you used to pay for the hotel online as a pre authorization hold and when you get to the hotel they tell you to pay the full charge so its like your paying twice until the hold is lifted which takes about a week. This information was not given to me when i made the initial transaction online.

Very economical and quiet place even though it was in a busy area with a McDonald's hugging the property. Unique older design with a nice courtyard between the rooms. Good breakfast area with lots of choice. Beds were good and my wife and I slept well. Tight entrance to Inn and a bit long to process our paperwork as I am a cash customer. Much more efficient at the Days Inn in Spokane Washington. Bathroom was lit up from the area so the door had to be closed. A blackout curtain would be a good idea. Some odour from the oldness of the hotel and some attention to the tiles in the washroom which seemed old and stained.

We liked the location as it was close to our daughters place. There are several Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants in the area as well as McDonald's right next door The rooms atre old but very clean and comfortable. We found the staff friendly and helpful. For the money it is a great value The continental breakfast is not great. Just cereal and breads but better than nothing

The main reason I chose it was the price and the reviews the hotel got, but after my stay, I've come to think of many more reasons to like it: the location, the very friendly staff, the call I got to see that everything's fine with the room, the breakfast served every day, the cleanliness of the rooms and the dining room, the toilet and shower were very satisfactory, the location with all the restaurants and the fact that the hotel's on a central street which facilitates getting around without a car. As some of the other users said, it is on a busy street, though I must say that personally I wasn't bothered by it.
