toilets didn't have exhaust fan, so its bit smelly after one finishes toilet

It was close to downtown. Nice clean rooms beautiful gardens and quiet.

This is my 3rd stay in less than a year. Need I say more as that speaks for itself.

Very economical and quiet place even though it was in a busy area with a McDonald's hugging the property. Unique older design with a nice courtyard between the rooms. Good breakfast area with lots of choice. Beds were good and my wife and I slept well.

Tight entrance to Inn and a bit long to process our paperwork as I am a cash customer. Much more efficient at the Days Inn in Spokane Washington. Bathroom was lit up from the area so the door had to be closed. A blackout curtain would be a good idea. Some odour from the oldness of the hotel and some attention to the tiles in the washroom which seemed old and stained.

We liked the location as it was close to our daughters place. There are several Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants in the area as well as McDonald's right next door The rooms atre old but very clean and comfortable. We found the staff friendly and helpful. For the money it is a great value

The continental breakfast is not great. Just cereal and breads but better than nothing

The main reason I chose it was the price and the reviews the hotel got, but after my stay, I've come to think of many more reasons to like it: the location, the very friendly staff, the call I got to see that everything's fine with the room, the breakfast served every day, the cleanliness of the rooms and the dining room, the toilet and shower were very satisfactory, the location with all the restaurants and the fact that the hotel's on a central street which facilitates getting around without a car.

As some of the other users said, it is on a busy street, though I must say that personally I wasn't bothered by it.

the courtyard was a nice surprise, relaxing change from the city bustle

The beds were very comfortable. Loved the courtyard garden.

We enjoyed the gardens and the soft beds and it was very quiet.

The breakfast had few choices, but it had coffee & toast. What more do you need when travelling.

Very comfortable place, great value and perfect place if you like chinese/vietnamese cousine because the street is only about asian restaurants, if you have a car its very easy to get to every part of vancouver and parking is for free.

When we arrived we had to ask to change the bed sheet because it has a stain on it, we saw several prostitutes in the hotel and we even heard them..not very pleasant if you want to stay with kids.

Staff were excellent in customer care. My transfer to another room was done with an excellent attitude and promptly. Front desk help was of real value.

Some of the room fixtures were not working, and getting old. Ants in the bathroom did not help. The continental breakfast did not have a lot of variety. A few (what appeared as) day old baked goods and cold cereal were the only choices.

Staff were friendly, room was clean, bed was comfortable, great on the wallet for a stop over in transit to other destinations

For what it is and the price there is nothing I didn't like.

Room was very clean. The price was very good. The evening check-in staff were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. The quick call to the room after check-in was appreciated. Felt secure in the building. Free parking and free wifi in room are great.

Rooms on the smaller side. Computer access in the lobby a little expensive (our modem was acting up on our computer).

How cozy the stay was. Very friendly staff and easy access to downtown! My room was nice n clean as well. Loved the stay and will go again

Price. free parking and free wifi. Upgraded us to a better room at no cost. Larger TV in room. Just upstreet from Green Lettuce - a great recommendation - ate there twice.

Everything and highly recommend this lovely place right near McDonalds, bus to science centre and Aquarium, great rates, great staff, great room and I will keep going back!! Nice breakfast too!

Budget friendly, location is ok, free wifi, free parking.

Staff is cold, thin floor and wall, can be noisy when inconsiderate residents laughing, speaking loudly or slamming their doors. Breakfast is better than nothing. They have green policy but use disposable paper plates, cups and utensils for breakfast serving! Maintainence works start before 9am woke me up everyday.

Location and price.

Sheets were dirty with hair and dust.

Comfort, free wifi. PRICE. Location: generous choice of restaurants very close by. Easy city bus to transportation hubs.

Unlike my first stay here, this was lower level room (#102). I was unable to sleep from 4AM on due to sounds of movement in room above. Additionally, there is a place on the above floor (my ceiling) that the floor squeaks annoyingly.
