Friendly and helpful staff, though got fed-up with the constant "You're welcome" when thanked. Good size room and comfortable. Lobster supper very good value. Excellent position for seeing Halifax, buses etc. Air conditioning noisy as in all hotels it seems. Breakfasts a bit dull for European tastes. |

Location Conference Facilites were very poor. Rooms are long and narrow which is not the best layout for a conference; The round tables are not practical as we could not even place our binders on the tables without knocking something over or bumping into someone; The food was really not good. The room is gloomy being in the basement. The room was initially freezing. Then in the Barrington room, the lights kept flickering which was very distracting. Just overall not good! |

The staff was the friendliest i've every experienced and made sure your needs were taken care of. My reservation through booking.com could not be found. And as with all hotels---the price tag for the rooms are ridiculous. |

It was conveniently located in downtown Halifax and offered pleasant facilities to relax at the end of the day. The hotel staff were courteous and the accommodations comfortable. The room appeared clean enough but there was a nail file left on the floor next to the bed. Upon arrival at the front reception desk the young lady spoke very quickly so I had to ask her to repeat everything. And even though it was not hard to find the room, having never stayed before it would have been nice to have been given direction on this. |

Good value when you are looking for more than a "Bargain Motel". Love the Pedway Links right from the hotel. Staff are great and rooms are very adequate. Perfect location when all you want is right down town. Love Halifax |

The staff was very friendly and helpful and made our stay a very pleasant experience. The room was very clean and comfortable and the turn down service was a nice touch. Loved the location. Very central and the pedways made it nice getting around in the cold, damp weather. |

The service is always excellent ~ my iron didn't work and was replaced when requested. I did have difficulties with the heat (too warm) but didn't discuss until I was leaving. I may not have been adjusting correctly (changed the temp but did not turn on the fans) |
