I stayed because my mother was in the Toronto General Hospital. Great location and convenient to shopping and restaurants as well as having good restaurants in the hotel itself. We didn't get to make use of any of the facilities as in pool, etc though. When leaving the hotel I didn't have luggage and there was quite a lineup for the elevator. I chose to descend via stairway and was confronted on the ground floor by a door that said emergency only, alarm would sound. After going down from the 12th floor it was quite disconcerting to have to then climb back up to the second floor and wait for the elevator and once again be in a line up of people waiting. There should be a notice stating that there is no exit on "g" if the stairs are not actually supposed to be used daily.

Location, have been visiting since mid 80's but not in several years. The hotel is not up to par with other hotels of the class the Delta Chelsea used to be. Very disappointing room. Lite burnt out in hallway (entrance) air conditioning was poor at best. Room temp never got below 70 although we tried to drop it down to 67 for better sleeping. Everything looked TIRED. Bed was comfortable but overall was not a 5 star nor even a 4 star it was a 3 star hotel. I travel a internationally and know from where I speak.

This hotel sits right in the heart of downtown Toronto! Only a few minutes walk to Eaton Center and about 20 minutes walk to Chinatown. Parking areas are available everywhere in and around the hotel, but the one provided by the hotel allows the guest unlimited in-and-out passage. We also loved the indoor pools and complete gym! The balcony looked out onto a nice view of the city. Internet was free. All in all, it was a very comfortable and satisfying stay. No fridge in the room. No complementary breakfast. :-(

Friendly staff, good location for first time visitors to Toronto. With all the young people it could be very noisy after 10 p.m. I think perhaps someone complained because they told each other to be quiet or they would get in trouble. Two nights of our 4 were very noisy late, after 10pm.

Great location-close to everything downtown. Good value for your money. Our king size room was clean, bed was comfortable and shower was perfect. The Market Garden restaurant offers a nice variety of food choices for breakfast, all nicely done and the prices are reasonable. Attended a concert at the acc and was able to walk back to the hotel without a problem. There are different sections to the hotel, so you are not always sure of what type of room you might be receiving.

The room was clean and comfortable. The parking was easy and the staff was curteous. You could see in the room that it has be frequented often. In the sense that the furniture was used and the bathroom had minor nicks and scratches on the floor. Maybe a little renovation would increase the luxury feel of the room.
