Everything from the room, dining room service and size of room Nothing to do with the hotel, but my room was opposite the building site on Gerrard Street. The workers actually started work at 0700 hours and the noise woke me up. I think if guests are in rooms on Gerrard Street they should be informed that they may get woken up early at 0700 as a polite gesture.

I stayed because my mother was in the Toronto General Hospital. Great location and convenient to shopping and restaurants as well as having good restaurants in the hotel itself. We didn't get to make use of any of the facilities as in pool, etc though. When leaving the hotel I didn't have luggage and there was quite a lineup for the elevator. I chose to descend via stairway and was confronted on the ground floor by a door that said emergency only, alarm would sound. After going down from the 12th floor it was quite disconcerting to have to then climb back up to the second floor and wait for the elevator and once again be in a line up of people waiting. There should be a notice stating that there is no exit on "g" if the stairs are not actually supposed to be used daily.

i don't like how rude the staff was. It seems to be something I found a lot of in Canada. Rude people, with horrible customer service skills. No one is personable, no one seems to care about the needs of others. At the front desk I stood there for 5 minutes, while a woman noticed I was there, looked up at me 3 times, and just continued her conversation with her coworker. I am honestly just glad to be back in the states where Americans are not rude!!

2nd cup coffee in the marketplace dining area was a welcome treat. Bed was comfy and the elevators came quickly No way to adjust the heat in my room, & it was colder than comfortable for times when I wasn't in bed (19.0 C). Being offered a heater wasn't sufficient replacement.

Concierge and cleaning staff were very helpful and friendly - they work hard for their money! We received attention to a room detail within 10 minutes. No ventilation in the bathrooms - really!!! I thought $33 for Sunday brunch was a little extravagant. Where is the value for money there?

We found the Delta Chelsea to be a very clean Hotel. The price was perfect for our purpose which we found @bookings.com., The staff were professional and responded quick. Check in and out was very quick.Perfect location minutes from Billy Bishop airport and around the corner from the Toronto General Hospital . My wife is in the process of a liver transplant and all my above comments lifted some pressure from the situation we are going through.I Will be staying there a few more times as required to attend tests at Toronto General Hospital There is nothing that I could say was wrong with the Delta . The only thing I would like to point out is don't rely on the negative comments people write about the Delta. Go there and you will see , enjoy yourself.

We used to stay at the Chelsea because it was frinedly, well-appointed, clean and the restaurants were pretty good. \The family pool was good for our visiting grandson. NEarby restaurants are excellent. Development around the hotel has made subway access more difficult. We had a room that was ill-equipped - no fridge for our meds, heating that wouldn't reduce and not very clean. The Market Garden restaurant was also looking rundown and the tables were dirty.

Excellent service and on the whole, friendly staff. The meal in the evening was terrible, and costly-----that is, not worth the cost. The breakfast was acceptable, but the evening meal (all agreed) was not at all well done at all.

Very good location in terms of the fact that the Express Shuttle from the Airport stops right outside the door. Plenty of choices in terms of eating within the hotel, friendly and courteous service. Location also good for downtown shopping. I have stayed here previously and would stay here again.

The Delta Cheslea has a great location especially if you have appointments at the hospital or shopping. They have great facilities ie pools, gym. The room was very poorly maintained, wall paper falling off and dirty, Floor tiles cracked, rusty vents very hard to feel comfortable when things look unkempt. You cannot improve a room on new bedding alone.

The location is awesome. I had stayed at the Delta Chelsea in the past and was familar with its facilities. The air conditioner was turned off and the floor and room was uncomfortably warm. The balcony was closed off and could not be used. The Kid Zone was closed at 6 pm not allowing evening access to the room or activities for my children.

Many ammenities available to use, location was ideal for my purposes, I locked myself out of my room and they were prompt to help me out. Did not get the robe as described in the package, furniture looked a bit tattered, black furniture was banged up. Did not have free internet in the room and the lobby was too busy to take my laptop to work at night.

I was not satisfied with the cost of the room based on the fact that I only had hot water for shower/bath 2 out of the 5 nights I was there. As well, my room was cold - I was advised that the heat was not yet on and the air was just circulating. I was provided with a portable heater. Pretty tacky.

This is a 1600 room property and very busy. It was impossible to sleep as hallways were always noisy with patrons who felt the corridors were their own personal chat space as well as balcony doors opening and closing at all hours of the night. Not a memorable experience. Do not use this hotel if you need your rest and have business to do. This is a family hotel only

We absolutely loved the bed as it was so comfortable and big. The room was very spacious and the air conditioning was good and adjustable which isnt always the case. The fact that there were separate pools and leisure facilities for kids and for adults is excellent as we could actually enjoy the pool and relax without worring about children running around. The hotel staff were all very friendly and could not do enough to help us at check-in and also at the concierge desk. Cleaners and pool staff were also very friendly Food at the restraunt was very tasty. Price of internet was quite high and the breakfast was also quite expensive. TVs were very old although we were informed that all rooms are in the process of being updated and all lower floors now have ipod docks and flat screen tvs.

The location was very good. It was very busy but in a good way. The hotel caters for young and old alike. The pool was really nice - especially after a long hot day. The staff were very friendly also. I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone. The restaurant/cafe was rather expensive. Apart from that, no complaints!

Very comfortable beds, great view,(and we were facing the construction but it didnt bother us) staff very well mannered and helpful, helped us arrange ticket/time slots for the go train, Mike the manager assisted us in our cards 4 our extended stay...this saved us probably an hour in line!! Concierge service was goodish....even though we were lead in the wrong direction we understand it was a mistake and ended up fun!! The hotel was clean and well equipped to handle the volume of guests, good layout and a great location. When I went to go to bed I had discovered the sheets were smugged with make-up(not mine of course) and there was a hair bead in the sheet...so it was obvious the sheets had not been changed, I called 2 front desk to bring a set of sheets and I would change them. However after waiting for an hour I had 2 call down and ask again, the lady 2 the front desk said to be patient...they were very busy! I asked for the manager, she said I could not talk to any of them as they were busy and or on break. I then called the hotel back via my cell phone and got a manager right away, the sheets were brought in aprox 30 min after that and I was refunded 50%off that night stay. Litlle to much work for me just to get the sheets...pissed me off I just wanted 2 go 2 sleep @ 8pm 2 wake at 11pm to go out again...instead ...no sleep....time was up and it was 11pm already and we needed to leave.
