The check in, check out was very convenient. The staff were all very friendly. The free newspaper each morning was a treat. The Chelsea is probably the best situated hotel in Toronto. My room, in the new wing, was very comfortable and well maintained with a great view of the city and lake. A good selection for every breakfast taste in their cafeteria. |

Staff were very helpful and always smiling. Pillows were good and beds. Yes, Our room was not cleaned well. I have a 2 year old and in our room we found a large orange pill. This was very upsetting for I was not sure what it was. I am so glad it was not my two year old that found it.`` If he would have ate it, we would have had no idea and heaven knows what would have happened to him. This is still very upsetting. This has changed my view on how safe your rooms really are. To the questions below, I would not recommend with small children. |

The location was great, I could not have asked for a anything close to the Eaton shopping center or Yonge St. The price was also great, downtown Toronto for 99$ per night, I will definitely come back at that price. |

We really liked all the facilities they had for kids. I was impressed with the Family Fun Room, and the amount of crafts my daughter could do. She was impressed with the free toys at check-in! The girl at the desk tried to tell me that I had booked for the wrong day, and that was why she couldn't find my reservation -- when I knew for a fact that I had booked the correct date, and when I checked my confirmation...I was right. The hotel staff must have entered my reservation for the wrong date, but she would not admit that. |

really nice building. well maintained and extremely clean. at most hotels, local calls are free. at this hotel they are $2 at minimum. the room was a bit cramped for 2 double beds and having 4 people would be extremely crowded. |

The convenient location as well as the beautiful pool and lounge area on the 27th floor I found the size of the room a little small. The temperature of the room was cool so less comfortable than expected. |

I liked the location because it was near the Eaton Centre and the subway line. The rooms are very quiet and the beds are comfortable. The check-in and check-out are painfully slow due to the line-ups and because the staff while trying to be friendly engage in long conversations with each guest. Some weary travellers just want to get their keys and go to their rooms. |

Central location enabled us to visit museums, shop and visit local tourist attractions. I particularly applaud the choice of restaurant options from the basic/affordable to the ( excellent) haute cuisine. |

There was a mistake on the date of my reservation, thinking that my booking is 21 Nov instead of 21 Dec. So a No Show charge of 1 night was charged and when I turned up at the hotel, they could not find my booking. I still haven't got my 1 night charge refund, still waiting. |
