Room wasn't amazing for the cost of it.
this is by far my favourite delta hotel . its on the water, saltwater pool, real resort feel to it. you can rent bikes for 20$ and go into downtown . great amenities
its great to have a 24 hour pool, but the lighting at night is too strong and there is a big window, rather uncomfortable to swim knowing everyone walking outside can see you at night. no whirlpool :(
everything, excellent room, quiet surroundings, excellent facilities on site, prompt service......with a genuine smile!!!!
Absolutely no check in before three. We requested a one o,clock but were refused
Excellent room, overlooking the river. yoking and attentive staff, who were consistently helpful Jazz in the bar on Saturday was a highlight
Some good meals with the exception of very tough prime rib one night, but a tenderloin steak on another evening was delicious
Very comfortable hotel Good service and nice relaxing atmosphere
nice location right on the water, easy walk into downtown fredericton. starbucks in the lobby
Warm and welcoming desk reception!! Accommodating to our needs/wants! Would definitely recommend this hotel!
I didn't like that I paid $30 more because I booked on an external site not realizing that had I called the hotel directly I would have had a lower rate! Something I now know to do in the future!
Location of outdoor restaurant on St John river was great.staff were helpful & good. Gift shop in lobby had some great shopping!
Couldn't get wifi to work despite calls to the desk & IT
My husband and I and young son had a fantastic stay at the Delta Fredericton. It was absolutely everything we had expected and quite a bit more!! Staff at the restaurant were very knowledgeable about gluten intolerance and my food was absolutely fantastic - 'drunken scallops'! Yum. The hotel room was bright and modern and immaculate, super comfortable bed, amazing view of the river and sunset. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Wonderful breakfast in bed. Our son (age 3) cried when we left, so we know he really liked it too! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
The location on the river is very pretty.
Stayed at this hotel twice in a two week period on our way to and from the maritimes. Both times is was very noisy at night. The first time I called front desk about a party going on a few doors down. They did nothing about the noise and it continued for hours. Hardly slept that night. On our way back home we had already booked a room and decided to give it another try. Again we were told we were in a quiet location but all we could hear at night was doors slamming, people laughing etc. The restaurant was another story. On our first visit we waited almost an hour and a half for our food at the Dip.It was past 10 pm when we finally got our meals and my 6 year old was beside himself. The server was nice enough but should of given us our meal on the house. The secound time through we had our meals at DJ Purdys. The tables were dirty....never got cleaned and the floor was covered in dropped food and garbage. The meals were not cheap and the hotel charges a lot per night for a room. I expect a lot more for my money given how much we spent for meals and the rooms.
incredible location on the river, beautiful amenities, really a great hotel! 24 hour saltwater pool.
Modern room on upper floors well decorated and very confortable.
Only anoying mater: our room was close to the elevator and we could hear every chime of elevator doors opening.
Friendly staff and outdoor pool.
Pool was too cold. Took over an hour to get our dinner at the Dip restaurant. Party next door, told hotel manager but it carried on for hours.
Loved the view from river side room & pool/patio dining area
Indoor pool on the small side; decided not to use since a few other people w/children were using it.
Rooms were comfortable; clean; friendly staff
For us the hotel was the destination..especially the pool. However, on the Saturday (a hot sunny day) afternoon, hotel guests could hardly get near the outdoor pool due to the great number of non-guests using the facilities; The DJed music at pool-side was louder than a night club and made a leisurely afternoon with friends and family virtually impossible. Very disappointed in this atmosphere.
We stayed at the Delta on our way to PEI. The accomodations were fine. The area is close to downtown if you want to shop.
There were dust devils hanging from the ceiling in our room. Keep in my they had a power outage.
Post-tropical storm Arthur and a huge convention converged on the hotel while we were there. Booking.com listed the room as having a spa tub - which it did not. It was a recipe for disaster, but ultimately we had a most pleasant stay! We ordered a bottle of wine to the Mode Club Lounge and took advantage of the little balcony which we had to ourselves. For the hotel being as packed as it was - including a 20+ band jam session after midnight - it was ridiculously quiet. In fact, we can not confirm the jam session even happened as we only heard tell of it. Music gently wafted up to the balcony, but when we were in our room, we didn't hear a thing! Moreover, we were shocked to find trees toppled, streets littered with branches and flooding, and rampant power loss in Fredricton the next morning as - from our room - it just sounded like it was raining a bit outside. We had no idea! I blame the ultra-comfortable bed. Oh, and some nice touches in the room; real flowers and a fuzzy, dedicated bath mat.
The fact that booking.com listed this room as having a spa tub when it did not was wildly disappointing, but that is more of a booking.com snafu than Delta's, so I wouldn't hold it against Delta. [I had my suspicions going in as I always go to the hotel's website to confirm the amenities. Delta's description of the 'Mode Club King Room with Water View' did not include a spa tub.]
Free breakfast tickets! Very helpful and approachable staff! Very comfortable beds!
Parking can be a challenge when a special event is going on at the hotel.
All the details in the room. Cables to connect laptop to the tv. Nice bog tv. Practically decorated.
No complementary breakfast for a $200 room! Pool too crowded. Spiders in the windows, a lot of them. Have to clean from outside.
The restaurants, the service, and the clean quiet rooms!
I didnt like that there was no hot tub.
