The room was nice They could not find our booking through Booking.com, we spent most of the evening trying to find out why, and didnt want to get charged twice on the credit card because they had to book us as a walk in. Parking was terrible, we couldnt find our way to the hotel for quite some time. Once we where passed all the stress of getting in and situated, we went out and had a good time. Once we got back to the hotel for the night, we ordered food through the hotel, I woke up around 3am and started vomiting, I was up all night sick. The manager of the hotel has contacted us since and is trying to find out what happened with the booking, and has apologized for the bad experience, as it was a night out to celebrate me and my girlfriends engagement. |

I liked the Ped-way connection to the hotel. It made it very convenient to get around. The parking "situation" was not clearly explained and we ended up paying much more in parking fees than was necessary. |

I liked that I was at the heart of the city and had access through the Ped-way to manu amenities. The pool is in need of serious renovation- the rust around the edge is not very appealling. |

I was in Halifax on business and the location was most convenient for my purposes. I made every effort to keep my reservation dates but due to weather delays and a power failure I did not arrive until 9AM the next day. I was very disappointed that I was charged for two nights. |

The bed was very comfortable and the staff were super friendly and helpful. My room seemed to be a bit older, the bathroom certainly wasn't new. |

The location of the hotel made it close to the events we wanted to attend. Also, even though we could walk to most of the attractions, there was a city bus stop right outside of the hotel. |

View of the water; closeness to waterfront; comfortable bed and bedding (best pillows ever!); dogs allowed; food on site Getting through the covered walkway was difficult; even though there were busy roads to cross, it was easier to walk outside than navigate the escalators, corridors, malls etc |

Sharon in Slicks is great. The lobby staff are friendly and polite, checing in and mout is quick. In the Crown Room, breakfasts are not the best. Signage in the parking garage is very confusing and several people including me were wandering around looking for their cars. Even the lobby staff couldn't give directions about the garage. |

We were very pleased with the location. We were in Halifax for a graduation and the link-up system was great for us as we were traveling with an elderly relative. When we first arrived, the main lobby and hallway to our room had a slightly musty odour. |
