the reception at delta Halifax was one of the best we'd ever had. It was my friend's first time in the city and they sent up delicious kettle chips and local beer. food from room service was very good.
The location was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and the bed super comfortable
It was very tricky to get from the parking garage to the main desk area.
ice cold a/c or room warm and humid .. tough choice lots of fruit flies
Valet parking rasonable cost, inside connection to downtown area,
Pillows were to firm. Elevator noise could be heard from room.
The pool, the SAUNA, the bartender and the bar. Loved the vestibule in the room.
room was too crowded and hadn't been reno'd in a while.
Great location-close to the waterfront & boardwalk as well as restaurants
Busy roads around the hotel
Nice staff Comfortable bed Good location
Continuously fluctuating room temperatures with noisy AC. Old rooms in need of update. No bathroom fan. Thin walls. Uncomfortably thick pillows. Expensive.
Location of this facility is excellent. The hotel was clean and well maintained.
The beds were uncomfortable - glad we had two double beds as one was firmer. Saturday night was noisy. The restaurant was not the best but the waitresses were excellent. We started to have breakfast elsewhere. The breakfast buffet was not very impressive. Items on menu were overpriced.
Very nice staff
Location is TRICKY to get to by car and there are 2 DELTAS almost side by side which leads to CONFUSION !
We arrived on a Friday evening and the front desk staff were superb despite the fact they were crazy busy. When Jaime asked what brought us to Halifax, I said to celebrate my wife's birthday. Birthday wishes were extended and we headed to our room, freshened up and headed out for supper. Returning to our room we found a card wishing her a happy birthday from Jaime and Jordan along with two complimentary glasses of wine. Extremely thoughtful and impressive. White wine is her favorite!!!!!
Location and outside patio.
We missed pulling up into hotel parking and ended up parking across the street, down the hill a bit. The valet went and got our car for us!! Which was so awesome because frankly all the one way streets had me pretty frazzled!! Thanks to the front desk clerk got recognizing the desperation in my voice when asking me about parking and for checking if the awesome valet would go get our vehicle!! Top notch! Plus our bags were delivered to our room while we ate:)
Old fridge, dated bathroom area could be my ONLY complaint.
typical chain hotel rooms were clean and quiet
set up of the hotel - long, strange walk to our room hard to get from underground parking to hotel hard to actually find my way back to the hotel in my car. i could see it from the road but couldn't figure out how to get there. very frustrating til i figured out i had to do a 'u-ie' to get in.
Staff, Food, Location
Terrible bathroom, Peeling Wallpaper, this Hotel needs a full Reno. Don't waste your money. We did that for you.
I didn't like the all the detours from the underground parking to main lobby. Very confusing and to distant.
Closeness to the Citidal etc
Location was good
Overpriced and outdated. Did not feel we received our value for what we spent.
i worked at the chateau halifax about 30 years ago - met my husband there - it's changed somewhat but still has that familiar and comfortable feel that it had all those years ago.
The view from the balcony
The price of parking above the cost of the room
Great location, right in the middle of downtown and close to great restaurants and to the water front.
AC on and off loudly all night.
The facility was beautiful an the staff were very friendly and efficient.
Comin from the parking garage, it took us 25 minutes to finally understand the elevator system and the building layout. Very inconvenient and confusing.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
The staff here was soo helpful. Big thanks to Jaime , who really helped us with find cheap parking and drying out our tent
