Location Cleanliness Friendly, efficient staff
Lobby coffee charge $2.50? Should be complimentary.
Location View from my room
Expensive for what it was Felt staff was only moderately interested in guests.
In house restaurant was understaffed and unable to serve us dinner prior to a concert we were attending. We were there one and a half hours prior to the start of the concert and they sent us away.
it was clean and comfort, pool was good, food was good
the staff didn't clean our class at sconf night and even didn't give us tea/coffee
Everything was to my liking, the view was spectacular, silence was golden, bed was the perfect combo of firmness and pillow softness. I would return in a minute. I have stayed at the other hotels in the area on previous visits which were okay but decided to treat myself and found you get what you pay for!
I was only there for 2 days and wish I'd been there longer
Location was neat and close to many things. Beautiful view. Really neat but pricey pub and restaurant. Good food in both places. Lobby very useable and clean.
Rooms need updated. Old and not very clean bathrooms. Carpet in hallways never swept the 5 days we were there. The real scam is the 100 per night incidentals fee and was put on my card without me signing anything.
pool too warm and didn't observe anyone looking after it. no incentive for meals uninspiring menu
Pub on site has excellent food and service.
Large room with a desk and two queen beds overlooking the waterfront. Excellent facilities including a flat screen TV . We had a great breakfast for an additional charge. Enjoyed a great evening in the bar.
Food was great! Nice to have the board walk on the waterfront to go walking!
Carpet in the room was stained and may be time to switch to laminate!
Location & pub
Hotel needs upgrades. Our room was clean but carpets throughout building are quite dirty.
We loved everything about the weekend. We were able to walk to almost everything and the boardwalk just behind the hotel was great. We couldn't have had a nicer room if we had picked it ourselves. The front staff were very helpful and friendly. All in all a great weekend.
Got a bit of a shock when we went to pay for breakfast. The price we thought was quite high.
I really loved the two ladies at the front desk who obviously worked very well together! They were laughing with each other and that was very welcoming! The atmosphere was inviting and the room very comfortable! Sylvia From Prince George, BC
BEAUTIFUL VIEW BUT NOT WORTH THE COST
THE ICE CUBE MACHINE NEEDS TO BE CLEANED AS THERE WAS DIRT IN THE CUBES CARPETS LOOKED SOILED AIR CONDITIONER WENT OFF THROUGH THE NIGHT WOKE UP WAY TO WARM
Very comfortable high-end hotel with excellent view
there was no breakfast included in the price but that's really nothing compared to all the good things
Parking, specially if you are checking in late could be a challenge. No noise pollution policy, shouting and partying in residential corridors till 3, 4 AM in the morning
We could look out our window and watch the Cruise Ships come and go.
Cleanliness of the bathroom was fair. We have stayed at other Holiday Inn Express locations where more services were provided for less money.
Excellent view of the harbour supper was excellent
Rooms were not overly clean even the hallway .the dining room had a beautiful view but very dated decor and was so open everyone could hear your conversation . The supper took sooo long to come but it was exceptional
The staff was so great, they were very friendly and helpful.
There were two restraunts on site but neither offered a free breakfast.
comfortable beds, good location
noisy place, hard to sleep with so much hall noise. don't book here during sports tournaments.
For those looking to walk either for exercise or pleasure, this the place. A boardwalk along the harbour is right outside the door. Great view of the harbour if you get the right room. Close to downtown restaurants.
Parking, while at no extra charge, can be a problem. We arrived late (after dark)and spots were at a premium. Found out the next day that there was more parking on the other side of the hotel, which was not apparent and there were no signs to indicate that it was available. Air conditioning unit in our room was so noisy it had to shut down to sleep. Fortunately for us it was not particularly hot when we were there.
Cleanliness, beautiful waterfront view and great location.
Location, nice to walk around waterfront and downtown area.
Our room didn't have a bar fridge which I found a bit odd. Also the Cambridge suites is just a few metres down the road and for roughly the same price you can get a room with a little kitchenette and fridge. I always like this to keep food or drinks in when i travel.
The view and location. It was an easy walk to many nice restaurants and the boardwalk was a very pleasant walk night and day.
Housekeeping left a lot to be desired. We stayed 6 nights and few times half the room was not even cleaned. Dirty glasses left in the room and the bed looked like a child made it. Most of the front desk staff were less than friendly. Hardly ever a smile or even a nod. The pool was a lot of fun for kids not so much for anyone who wanted to take a swim after a long day.
room service from Pub was excellent as well as the food
staff @ breakfast (5) were not interested in cleaning tables as they were too busy chatting. Telephone calls were not answered and voicemail was full.
