The rooms were huge and the beds were comfortable
The room was freezing and the baseboard heaters just just could not keep up. We woke up with cold noses freezing feet and the kids wore their hoodies to bed.
Basically, nothing much. Location is good, nothing much.
Very basic facility, very poor breakfast. way over priced.
Good location if travelling North from Vancouver
We stayed overnight in Lilloet because we couldn't find accommodation elsewhere. We wouldn't stay again.
Breakfast style/location and coffee; easy parking;heart of Lillooett; easy check in/out.
room size relatively small
The Family room was great with a full size bed & 2 twin beds for the kids. Good value for the price.
The coffee with breakfast was outstanding' We admired your service, both at the entrance and in the cafe.
Breakfast was very minimal. Your bread needs to be healthier and we never eat sweet rolls in the morning. Also, having no sink in the bathroom is not very convenient.
Breakfast was good and friendly staff. Near the highway.
No lift for luggage
I liked this hotel, location was good, friendly staff, good breakfast.
I missed an elevator, and Wi-Fi was a bit slow.
Our room was clean and comfortable and the owner brought a hairdryer to the room within moments of my request. Having a small continental-style breakfast included in the price was a nice bonus.
The beds were a bit hard and the bathroom floor needed to be cleaned. Overall, good
We had a nice room, with everything we needed for a one-night stay. Also, the coffee with our continental breakfast was very good.
room was very clean and quiet.
the continental breakfast
You hear evry one who walk the corridor and evry door in the floor
Parent and two adult children were able to be accommodated without having to share beds.
Hand basin was outside the bathroom without a towel rail or enough counter space to put toiletries.
Great value for money
Location and convenience was the big plus, choice of a few restaurants near by, good hotel for the money.
Room was a bit dated and air conditioner was loud.
Very new property amongst the 5 others in town. The room was well kept and has free movie channel. Continental breakfast was in a very nice cafe on the hotel and was a simple but complete breakfast. Close by anything you would need including the few historic points of interest on Lillooet.
Central Location - continental breakfast a plus - coffee was very good
The hotel was easy to locate, ample parking (front or rear) clean accommodations, fairly quiet. The reception was friendly and the free breakfast was reasonable. There is ice and a microwave in the upper lobby for your use
My "beef" was the bed...staying somewhere overnight is about the comfort and quality of your sleep. I thought the bed was a bit firm and after tossing and turning all night I got up to an aching back and sore hips. The mattress isn't really a mattress at all. Turned out is was a box spring with a "waffle-sponge" mattress pad on it. How can this pass as a bed? I am sure there must be certain standards hotels must meet about what kind of "mattresses" they use. When we were leaving, the other room doors were open for cleaning and I noticed they had appropriate mattresses on their beds...Bad luck for us?? Stay clear of room #217..
This was my first visit to Lillooet. Give the size of the town and relative remote location from larger towns, my expectations were low. However I was impressed with the cleanliness and good up keep of the facilities. I would stay at Hotel D'Oro again/
The owner was very friendly
Weird smell in the room Breakfast is a joke
right hotel to stay for one night during travelling
simple older hotel, bit smelly in the room
Good price, ease of parking, nice breakfast
Room a bit small, slight background odour
