very clean, reasonable parking, friendly staff
room a bit on the small side. not much in English for tv watchers
Great staff and fantastic location into the Old Quebec and 5-10 mins walk to the ship terminals. Also right oppossite the famers market on the water. Great place to stay.
We ate at the restaraunate next door but found it very upmarket and very expensive. Lots if other very nice cafes and restarauntes along the same street.
Very comfortable large room. Continental breakfast delivered to room each morning. Great decor in updated older building.
Romantic, quiet, clean, friendly service. Close to all the destinations in the Old City. Parking across the street was very convenient. Would stay there again, and strongly recommend.
Staff lovely. Clean. Close to Via railway station. (3 minute walk).
Breakfast in a cool bag was disappointing. Whilst old town was near, we were situated next to a Shell garage.
The friendly and efficient personnel, the decoration of the room and the facilities that this small hotel managed to offer.
The location of the hotel is within an enjoyable walk from good cafes, restaurants, and shops, as well as the Farmers' market, which is open 7 days a week, and is well worth a visit! Parking is available directly across the street from the hotel - we didn't use our car once, during our four night stay! Our second floor room was spotless, stylish, and thoughtfully well equipped. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was suprisingly quiet for sleeping, considering that the hotel is on a main street. Breakfast waiting by our door in the mornings was delicious, and generous. And all the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our relaxed and comfortable stay.
Everything - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay -- property was charming and staff was wonderful.
Excellent staff, location , breakfast delivered to room and bed and pillows were just brilliant.
The ironing board and iron hung on the wall near the bed was not particularly aesthetically pleasing. To have some nets on the windows would have helped to have light and privacy during the day.
The room was spacious in all respects. Very airy and sunlit as we faced the port. We did not ask for a breakfast for an early departure and were pleasantly surprised to be presented a bag when we checked out.
Nothing about the hotel itself, except for the high price. But, I am guessing that Quebec is just an expensive city to visit. Just that the taxes bumped up the total cost, so one should anticipate that the listed price is exclusive of the final total.
Everything. Staff Legende(hotel restaurant) Location Size of room was fantastic
The Legende restaurant
Friendly, helpful staff Great location Good size room Interesting breakfast arrangement.
The room & the location of the hotel.
Chromotherapy, shower, and bed was perfect. Legende restaurant downstairs was five stars.
Breakfast desires fruit and protein. Tubs splashes over very easily- should warn your guests.
The hotel was located right at the base of the city wall in an excellent location! Took only a few minutes to walk to the heart of Old Port or the Old City and tons of restaurants. The staff was very welcoming with some great site seeing tips and set up restaurant reservations for us, we just had to show up. Having a parking lot across the street was nice and was fairly priced for a major city. Finally the bagged breakfast was a nice way to start the day. Recommend a stay!
The only negative was we came on a holiday weekend and the price was up there but it was expected. Their normal rate is worth the location and service. Still recommend a stay!
Great staff, quirky breakfast arrangements, good location
Within walking distance of via rail station, Saturday farmers market, loads of art galleries and restaurants.
Staff was uniformed of train station to take you to the Charlevoix region, I asked two staff members and they said to go to the nearby station. We eventually found out by having dinner at the station that we had to go to Montmorency Falls. We could have missed our trip!!!!!
Very friendly and helpful staff . English speakers. Service was amazing. Breakfast supplied to rooms each morning which was great. Walking distance to shops, train and port. Farmers market across the road along with hop on and hop off bus stop over the road also.
Nothing, the hotel was 100% perfect
The place to stay in Quebec City. We loved it. Staff was excellent. Keep up the good work.
It was so quaint and small. We loved the breakfast in a bag delivered to our room.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and seemed to enjoy being so, not just doing the job! We didn't get to use the pétanque yard outside but it was a nice touch.
We were disappointed with the 'continental breakfast' which included 2 slightly stale croissants and a container of jam with mould in it.
Staff's helpfulness, free DVD rental movies, plush towels & bedding
Very helpful staff (made a reservation for our 1st night's dinner, booked our airport taxi), delicious French continental breakfast brought to our door each morning, excellent coffee in room (Keurig), convenient walking distance to every site of interest (military & cultural history), art galleries, shopping, farmer's market, restaurants, … Little extras, too, like fresh fruit always available in lobby
My wife and I have traveled extensively in the U.S. and Europe. We found this hotel and it's staff very friendly and knowledgeable about sights and restaurants in Quebec City. The room was well appointed and very comfortable--allowing us to get rest full nights sleep every evening. There is a choice when booking of being down closer to the river or on the hill closer to the Chateau. We feel that our choice, closer to the river, was best for us in that restaurants, shops and other activities were at our front door. When we go back to Quebec we will definitely book at Hotel des Coutellier,
