Score from 29 reviews Very good
Easy parking staff friendly, and helpful I was there for a funeral so stressed and tired- it was nice to have a clean , quiet room to relax in It was great to have the ability to raise the temperature of the room.
Initially, I did not see the cupboard to hang my coat, clothes in as I am used to that being closer to the door. On reflection its location was fine. It was a bitterly cold, snowy day and the room was a it chilly.( see the plus side)
clean friendly value for money
Upgrade to King Suite Comfortable Bed Location Easy Access off Highway
Didnt have my room booked on arrival after I booked it with booking.com and the agent for booking.com changed it with them while i was on the phone Unattentive Staff Poor Service in lobby bar and restaurant Decor Tacky for higher end hotel
cleanliness - especially the stairwells (this is an area many hotels neglect; we tend to walk instead of taking the elevator)
bathroom towels - they were clean, but the texture wasn't my favourite.
Comfy bed and pillows, snack bar at entrance, room service food good when it finally arrived
no kettle in room, room service slow
Amazingly comfortable bed. Good location.
Did not like the fact breakfast was not included in a $150 night room. Had to pay $20 for a very limited breakfast buffet.
I thought the cost of the room was very expensive for Waterloo. My perception is the rate I paid was higher than Toronto rates.
There was not enough parking at the hotel for all of the guests. I had to park across the street. It was late at night and I consider this both an inconvenience as a guest and a safety issue as a women.
Good for shopping, easy to take bus
The room was very nice and spacious.
Some hotels provide a free breakfast, continental or otherwise. This hotel did not.
could have used more towels - there were only 2 bath towels - usually there are 2 provided per person
The lobby bar/bar tender
Bed pool hot tub location and staff was very helpful
140 a night was a bit high for a two night stay. For not having a breakfast or anything else. You pay 140 just to sleep there you think they could at least have a continental breakfast. Or coupons for deals of surrounding businesses.
activity area pool and hot tub were great
The rooms were a good size. beds were good. Pillows were too fluffy
Long black hair in the tub & on the floor.
Friendly staff; excellent customer service; Pool was nice.
Welcoming staff. Cleanliness.
It is so conveniently located near to the Shopping Mall and clean and pleasant place to stay.
I feel breakfast should be included in the price of the room.
Room & beds were very comfortable.
Found the buffet breakfast pricy.
Hotel was located in a good area, close to the mall.
I booked through booking.com and was quoted $119.per night. When we got home, we checked our master card and we were charged $135.per night. Also the hot tub was not working (another review at the beginning of June said the same)
Cosy hotel, clean, new
Too limitted dinner choices
There was nothing that was above average for a hotel of this type. I have stayed in other Four points hotels in Europe, and this one does not do justice to either the FourPoints or Sheraton chain of hotels.
I reserved a specific room for 5 nights over the phone, and confirmed by email. The room was then sold fo a night in the middle of my requested period. Useless staff at the reception. This should never happen. I then went to booking.com to ensure that I had a room. I also got a better deal then I was given by the reception stass. What is the point of reception staff?
Jacuzzi not working
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right off King Street and across from Conestoga Mall, so very convenient. We asked for extra coffee supplies and newspaper and there was absolutely no issue in getting them.
The breakfast was absolute mayhem. There was no hot food when we came down and it only came out in dribs and drabs. Again, the staff was friendly, but it didn't seem they were very efficient. In defence of the staff, it was convocation week for the university, so I imagine they were quite busy.
