That when plans changed I was unable to get to Booking.com to change dates. Therefore I had to pay for 1 night I was not there, Not the fault of Diamond Motel but the fault of Booking,com. I will not use you again

Staff/owner was very friendly and made sure all required was available. Room was very clean and motel was in the heart of the city.

Small blue recycling boxes should be available in the rooms.

The check-in staff was very friendly. Our one night stay was quiet, in a relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean / tidy and enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was at the end of November, with a cold spell and the bathroom floor which was ceramic tiles were very cold on the bare feet. It was a bit of a shock to go tinkle in the middle of the night :) A bath mat may be recommended for the floor.

Manager was very accomadating. I ask if she had decaffinated coffee available and she made a special trip to a store and returned with a fresh can just for us.

Could have used a hairdryer in the room.

The staff were so very accomodating. Anything that we needed they were pleased to get for us. The location close to the Owen Sound court was excellent for us. We had a ceremony to attend and we could walk. The staff were so very friendly and they made you feel welcome.

It is a tired motel, but they have painted the panelling, put in new carpet and bathroom flooring. They are working as best as possible.

The size of the room was more than adequate. I was upgraded to two double beds from a single queen at no extra charge which was nice. The bathroom was recently redone and looked clean. No stains. There was a small fridge and a two-element stove, microwave and coffee maker. The room had AC which is great. A decent room for the price. For $60/night the pluses outweighed the minuses...so I cannot complain.

No complimentary tissues. TV was old and in not great condition.

Welcoming staff (really listened to needs and wanted to provide with excellent service), location is good (close to downtown and main highways), quite, clean, new beds, microwave and coffee maker, good value for money

Room needs a little bit of renovating, but everything else is good. Kitchenette is in room, but you really should bring your own dishware (e.g. pans, fry pans) if you want to cook anything. Otherwise, just use a microwave.

For a basic room for just a one night stay, it was quite suitable. It was a great bonus that we could bring our little dog. The ground level made for easy access. Parking lot was suitable to park our vehicle and the boat. Overall the room was clean and met our needs for the one night stay.

I probably misinterpreted the accomodation description when I booked but I expected to see 2 beds in the room instead of one. Air conditioning was quite loud with no varying speed options. We therefore turned it off. Having a shower cap in the bathroom would have been helpful.

Did not feel that the proprietor was receptive to being disturbed at any time other than check-in. Comforter/blanket smelled of urine. No hot water in shower in morning.
