Location and view Size of suite Bedroom separate from living area
Many stairs for Suite A - so ask for lower suites if you have trouble with stairs
The suite was beautiful and very comfortable with a nice kitchenette and wonderful view of the harbor.
It was hot the night we were there and the air conditioning was not very strong. Also we got there early and would have liked to check in early but could not check in until exactly 3pm.
stairs to room. Club bar, woke meup around 12:15 am.Young girl very foul language for about 30 minutd outside our room.
the location of our room overlooking the bay, also the bed and bedding was excellent .
Water nearby. Close to ferry.
Shower quit several times during use. Reservation desk was in restaurant next door.
Everything, except the small window and view from the room..
Our room was supposed to have a balcony on the water, but they were fully booked and instead we had a room with a small window that looked out at the wall of the attached building.
Room was clean and well presented.
There was a smell in the stairs going up to the room. The room itself smelled very bad. We were told it was because people had been cooking, but the only way to cook was in a microwave so how there could be such a stench? It was impossible to breathe in the room. The person in charge put on an exhaust which was supposed to clear the air but did nothing. It smelt like rotting algae and lobster. We did get a discount, but if it hadn't been late at night on a holiday weekend we definitely would not have stayed and would have looked for another place.
Everything was newly renovated, they had a restaurant below that serves great food.
They should look a putting a better ventilation tho the suit G.
Rooms were clean, comfortable and the place had a lot to offer in the small town of Digby! From the outside we were worried with the old dingy buildings, but suites were new, very clean and very nice!
Food priced a little high for what you got, I had a scallop/shrimp dish with 2 scallops and 3 shrimp. It was good but not much food for the price. Service was slow as I believe they were under staffed. Prices higher than we saw in the rest of Nova Scotia and Cape Breton.
Friendliness of staff, food and location were fantastic.
Felt the room was somewhat overpriced particularly when there were no windows.
In town close, to cousins. Located in area where my father was born and raised. Just the feeling of home.
Service was outstanding! Rooms were well appointed and little touches to the rooms to make our stay more comfortable!
Parking was the only drawback but understandable because of the location of The Dockside Suites.0
Very comfortable, clean and great view. The weather did not work in our favour, however staying in Suite A made it a worth while stay
nothing, it was all great
We loved everything about Dockside Suites, a home away from home. Clean, comfortable, wonderful views, good food, good shopping, we couldn't have asked for more.
Clean and comfortable suite with newly renovated finishes and appliances. Beautiful sunrises over the bay. Bikes and kayaks at our doorstep. Delicious dockside dinners just below.
Even though we warned about the band in the club below, the noise was quite disturbing. We cranked up the AC to try to mask it, but the drum beat and the rowdy drunks on the street below interrupted an otherwise lovely stay.
Huge room with 20 foot rounded ceilings, kitchenette, and a balcony overlooking the water. Gorgeous room! Loved the hotel and the location. The bed was billed as a queen, but seemed like a king. Large sitting area with loveseat and side chair. We were in Suite C.
There is no elevator, which is difficult for those with mobility issues.
Great spot once you find how to check in. ( next door at the restaurant)
1. Spacious and well-equipped suite. 2. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff 3. Nice view 4. Good restaurant
A bit noisy (bar noise carried up to our suite until late)
Location, small kitchen area was very convenient, bed was great and very clean...whirlpool tub was a nice surprise.
Great location with a beautiful view from the balcony. Room clean, bed and pillows very comfortable. Had a little trouble finding the place as the sign is very small, but would definetly recommend this place. The food in the attached restaurant is very good - especially the scallops !
Great view straight on to bay.
