It was nice in general I liked that it had star bucks coffee
The view was not what it was made out to be' the pull out bed sucked, the cleanliness was way less than I expected, there were coffee stains everywhere, and I was awoken twice with wake up calls I didn't ask for, when I complained I was told I should shut it off alone in my room which made no sense, and than the vacuum of the cleaning crew I was able to hear into my room
Friendly, courteous staff.
The water glasses were dirty. Full of smudges and one still had water in it from the previous guests, I assume. There was also a giant bag of cranberries in the mini fridge, I imagine also from the previous tenant.
Walking distance to everything.
Paying $12 for parking.
Room was very nice. Beds were very comfortable. Hotel had a breakfast buffet that included the beverages that was expensive but much more affordable than restaurants in the area such as ihop at the Ramada next door. Hotel was close enough to attractions if you wanted to walk. We also felt very safe walking at night.
I didn't like paying $12 a day for parking but this seems to be customary in Niagara. It was actually less than most hotels in the area. The bathroom is a little smaller than I expected. I give the hotel kudos for trying to conserve energy, but the there was not enough lighting in the bathroom nor the room itself. It was difficult to even read.
we did not have a radio or a clock radio
Walked to strip
Added taxes to bill
The entrance to the hotel looks beautiful. bathroom is not clean enough and very small. the TV volume could not go above a certain level which was very difficult to hear sometimes . view from the window was wonderful overall nice place but the cost of drinking coffee or eating is very high in those
Cost of food. Level of cleanliness .
we travelled a family of six. faced issues with additional bed sheets; the room was not cleaned in the afternoon.. Poor service attitude.
Location , pool ,
The smoking room was really bad and staff did help out to switch to nonsmoking room
location quality atmosphere and much more
one tiny thing was the mattress on the most used side showed its slanting age
Staying here was worth every penny. We couldn't have asked for a nicer room, the restaurant was great, and the hotel is located within walking distance of most Niagara Falls attractions. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. We liked it here enough that we stayed an extra night.
no complaints about Doubletree Fallsview, it was all good!
-warm cookies upon arrival -cozy atmosphere -lots of parking -large room -comfy beds -lots of room
- river view wasn't really a river view - staff knocking on our door at 10 minutes before check-out was pushy and rude
really love the room
The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the room and common areas were clean, our view of the American falls was great!
Although I asked for early check in our room was not ready when we arrived at 2:30. We were asked to come back in an hour and we came back 1.5 hours later and it was still not ready.....at that point it was after their regular check in time.
Everything was perfect.no smells great view good and location.
I was charged an Extra twenty dollars a night for a no smoking room.
Beds were comfy
Staff a bit rude, especially one lady at the reception. Facility in general a bit old, rooms with old furniture.
Very friendly helpful staff, cookies nice treat.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, we received warm chocolate chip cookies when we arrived to the hotel. Friendly staff and in a great location.
A little pricey, had to pay to park in the lot ($12/day).
Great location. Could walk to falls and tourist attractions.
Staff was not friendly or welcoming.
Loved the way the hotel looked as soon as we entered. Staff was very kind. Loved that there was a Starbucks there. My boyfriend was very impressed on just everything as he's from England UK. This was both of our first time staying at this hotel. Will come back.....
Service to check in was slow....but I didn't mind at all.
The hotel was well designed and a great location to walk to the falls. We were lucky to get a view room and would visit again anytime. The little cafe for coffee, bite to eat, in the lobby place was perfect!
Worth money , good location and quite stay
No one to help us to carry our bags upon arrival and leave.
Within walking distance to the falls and other attractions
Having to pay $12 extra per night to park your car , it should be included with the price of the room
Nice views and spacious rooms. Wifi good and welcome cookie very welcome upon arrival
We liked it all
