The location was good despite the construction around the hotel which made it difficult to reach it. Although our room was non-smoking, it still smelled very much like smoke. The sheets, bathroom, the whole room. Also, there was not enough soap in the room. Will certainly recommend Ottawa to friends and family, but not at this hotel.

I have been staying at this location for the past 6yrs. The location is perfect for all commendities(shopping, churches, restaurants,etc.). Staff allowed us to leave our vehicle in the parking lot even after check out. I did not like the entry point due to construction(which is most of the time). Very difficult to reach a person for booking on the telephone(they replay the recording over and over). Rooms could use some upgrades(leaking tapes, toilet don't flush properly, and very dusty).

It is a very good motel, centrally located and easy to attend places I had to go. All the construction makes it a little bit of a challenge but I managed my way around.

Upgraded rooms since last there. Clean. All things one expects in a reasonable hotel room a microwave would have been good. Otherwise all just fine. The fancy business chair has a hard bar across the seat! Voices from connecting room.

Parking lot was somewhat secure and cheap. Hotel was close to university which is why we picked it. Restaurant attached to hotel served a nice breakfast. Housekeeping did not show up for two of our three days so bed didn't get made, no vacuuming, no new towels, no drinking cups and on the day they did, they short changed us towels and provided no beverage glasses at all. English language skills of housekeeping staff I tracked down for towels made it hard to communicate what I wanted. Elevator and ice machine was rattling all the time. Toilet had a small leak in it and would empty and flush on its own. Back door to parking lot did not lock despite request to use pass to open (Maybe this was only for the midnight shift). We did report these comments to hotel staff at check out and they adjusted our bill.

Courteous, friendly staff, clean rooms. Convenient location- many restaurants, clubs, and shopping areas within walking distance. Fewer wackos on the street than most places I've lived or visited.I would have walked around a lot more if it wasn't so cold.. My next visit will be in summer or early autumn. exercise room --no weight machine.

The maid stole my car/house keys. A day later a bunch of stuff was missing from my car. I called the manager and they said I didn't leave my keys in the hotel when I know I did.

The room was very comfortable and the location was great. The price was good too! I really liked that they allowed us to leave our car parked for the day after we checked out, and the parking price was cheap.
