The cleanest, modern, comfiest little cabin the three of us have ever stayed in! Will definitely stay there again on our way through Campbell River. The owners are great & very helpful & accommodating. Cabins were super clean and newly renovated.

We loved it. When we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome and our host gave us lots of information and what we could do in the area. Our unit was beautifully appointed and clean and the bed was amazing. I'd love to know the make of it. We took advantage of the offer of a beach bucket so we could go down the beach and make a fire to cook marshmellows and watch the cruise ships go by as the sunset. What a great experience. Highly recommended.

I was going to stay at a hotel but decided instead on something where I could cook in and be near the water. These few cottages were perfect and extremely well cared for!

Our cottage was wonderfully clean - so much so that it seemed like we were the very first guests to stay in our cottage. The Innkeeper Karen was extremely friendly and helpful, and she gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. We will be going back to the Driftwood by the Sea, for sure.

There was a little bit of road noise which we only noticed when we had the front window open, but the sound died down considerably by nightfall and did not interrupt our sleep in the slightest.

The apartment was spacious and well equipped. Very very clean & nicely refurbished - very good indeed. Very convenient location. The proprietor, Karen, was really really helpful and kind even by Canadian standards [we're Brits].

It's basically in an RV park by the road.

Past reviews on cleanliness, fresh linen etc very accurate. Karen takes a personal interest in welcoming you on arrival and at the end of your stay making sure you are a satisfied guest. Bed very comfortable, duvet fresh clean and fluffy. Freshly pressed pillow cases each day. She and her husband have totally renovated the 10 or 12 units to modern standards. In town location is short drive to town centre. Rotary walkway and beach across the street.

Along the main road into town which is good for access but a bit noisy. No problem sleeping tho as bedrooms are at the back in each unit. The combination of motel with an RV park component could put some people off. A little more separation between the two would solve that.

By far the cleanest place that I have stayed in.

Location was a bit noisy right by the highway but the bedroom was at the back and therefore quiet.

Karen the owner was extremely welcoming an informative about the local area. Property short distance from town centre and plenty of things to do around Campbell River. Beach just across road from cottages and Karen has buckets available for you to have your romantic fire on the beach.

Found the bathroom, mainly the shower very small. No arm chair to sit on, only couch.

Exceptionally run place. Karen really take care of her clients. She is knowledgeable, great host, and so willing to ensure our stay is first rate. All in all, A1 ! ! !

Wi-Fi can be weak at times. But most of the time, it is OK.

Staff was wonderful. Cottage was great, had everything we needed. Great view, great location. Would definitely recommend this place.

Our windows were left open after they cleaned each day. Felt a little uncomfortable about that as our stuff was inside. But as it's so humid there I guess they need to air out the room.

I liked everything but I particularly enjoyed meeting the owners who were more than welcoming. The bed was amazing! I don't remember the last time I fell asleep right away and stayed asleep until morning but I did there!

    Having to leave!

Extremely clean. Friendly and helpful owners. Parking right outside the cottage which meant a lot to us as had lots of baggage on a 14 day Vancouver Island visit. Location is a little outside of town center but it is literally a 5 mins drive.

Nothing really although a small chest of drawers to unpack some clothes would have been nice.

I forget how to spell her name, the female owner of the place, the most kind and helpful lady i've ever seen, let me check in one hour before the earliest check in time. I will come again when visit Campbell River.

little bit noise of traffic at night because it's close to the ocean view road I'm 6ft, the showerhead was not high enough for me, but that's not a thing actually
