Our room was enormous, bright, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff at reception were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in responding to our questions about the neighbourhood, the city and public transit. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Easy access to downtown. Good views. The heating was so noisy it woke us up many times during the night. Upon arrival we were told that the non-smoking rooms were sold out. We were told all that was available was a smoking room. We checked it out and the smoke smell in the room was overwhelming! Upon returning to the front desk and after much ado we were given the non-smoking room we had reserved. There were annoying problems clearing the voice message system and frustration in getting the safe to work. Front desk staff had an aloof attitude.

The location was very close to a street with stores and eateries. Not too far from a subway station to go to other areas of the city. A walking distance to Parc du Mont-Royal. Buffet breakfast was good. The hotel staff was very helpful. Parking overnight cost $18.50. The underground parking has two elevators to go up to the lobby. The one in the center was not accessable since the door to the elevator was locked. The only sign on the door was "Use the other door for Hotel du Fort." The sign should instruct to use the other elevator which is away to one side of the garage and not easy to find.

Nice Buffet breakfast, but no bacon, sausage, ham, hash browns ect. Being carnavors we went out to a sports bar across the street to the best breakfast for the money we have ever had, for half the price

Staff is pleasant and courteous. Location is convenient and accessable to shopping areas. Room is a good size and has convenience of fridge and microwave. - strong smell of cleaners in both lobby and room was unpleasant and gave the suggestion that it was masking some other issue. Showers leaked and fittings in shower were difficult to move to avoid the issue. Staff seemed unaware of issues with parking that occurred due to mechanical issues with the parking arm. There was no information provided to guests and no recognition of the inconvenience that this caused.

I like the fact that it was small and intimate and very personal. I did not like the fact that there was not a restaurant for dinner in the hotel. As a single on a cold night I did not want to venture outside late at night.

The Staff was Friendly and accomadating,The beds were very comfortable,There were grocery stores located directly across the st and open till late hours ,Location was very good close to everything. The view was nice from the room and the gym, was happy with the room, would stay again overall experince was very nice. The only issue was hearing the maids although friendly just talking a little too loud and laughing at 6:30 in the morning on saturday .Its understandable they are cleaning the rooms but it would have been good if the were quiter so early in the morning .

The convenience of the location, price and counter with sink for making hot beverages. The cleaning staff forgot to close the room door after cleaning, and to replenish the empty kleenex box.

Good rooms with efficient and polite staff You need a coffee/ lunch room and possible dinner with a very select but variable menu so we can stay inside the hotel for a period of several days.

it was in the right place. it is adequate, nothing fancy but clean and efficient. the staff were freindly, and helpful and all in all it is a good hotel. i would not term it a dislike but the lack of dining was a bit of a drawback, nothing major but a dining room serving dinner and lunch would be an enhancement. it seemed that only a loght continental breakfast ws offered - this too could use some embellishment. i realise this is likely due to lack of kitchem facilities at the site and do not consider it a major drawback. it would however be good business practice to offer full disclosure on this so that travellers can be aware and plan to work around it. nothing is gained by not making it clear as it immediatley becomes apparent anyhow. again - not a big deal.

I like the fact that the hotel was a good price and the facilities were clean, comfortable and that the rooms came with a kitchenette (sink, microwave and mini fridge). This made it a much more convenient and comfortable week for me.

Great hotel, the service at the front desk was welcoming and great. Clean room. A living room/lounge would be good in the lobby for guests who have to check out but need somewhere to stay if their flights are later in the day.

A nice small hotel. The room was large and well appointed. The staff was very helpful. Clean and well kept. In the city, but not it the middle of any of the city's attractions. While the room was large the bathroom was very small.

“We were upgraded for free when we arrived, so we had a 100sqm for the both of us! The location is excellent, just above the Latin area, though it is really quiet as it is not directly on the street... The apartment was very clean and well decorated. Breakfast was also very good! A place to go when travelling in Montreal! ” Guillaume, Caluire Et Cuire |
