Staff very helpful. Hotel walking distance to many restaurants and tourist areas. Breakfast in hotel delicious and reasonably priced.

The hotel was comfortable, spacious and neat / clean. It has easy access to the two metro stations. Lots of halal food options available near the store. Can reach old montreal and Montreal centreal station within in 15 min

I tried to call to make the reservation over the phone but could not get through and used the internet intead. There was no information about a dicsount using CAA on the webpage. I asked the staff to change the rate when I arrived but it was not done. It was also confusing to know if the breakfast was included in the rate or not. I was traveling with two other couples and their rates were different one couple had the same style of room,

It was a pleasure to stay in such a good hotel - the rooms were well equipped and very clean plus the staff were most helpful and friendly.

One day our room was not cleaned. One of the phones did not work at all.

Very nice hotel in the center of town. I stayed there twice, for a total of 14 nights, the first time with family (inc 2 little kids) in a 1-br suite. Clean & quiet rooms, pleasant staff, secure basement parking, good buffet breakfast, nice fitness room. All their rooms have mini-kitchenettes with fridge, microwave, sink, plates etc.; that and a 24h grocery store across the street make this a very comfortable home away from home.

The hotel staff was great! The trip was for my 50th birthday and they decided to upgrade our room. What a pleasant surprise! The view was fabulous and the room was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the living room area, big enough to do yoga, and the kitchenette. The bed was perfect, the bath towels very thick. I liked the fact that the hotel encourages recycling by having a separate bin. The staff's advice on restaurants and pubs was excellent! It was our first visit to Canada and Montréal, and they made it very special.

Conveniently located in Downtown montreal. Excellent service and beautiful rooms.

Large rooms. They had a special offer and we got a suite for the same price as a regular room.

The TV in the lounge didn't work. I'm sure they would have sorted it out if we'd complained - we didn't as there was a second in another room, and weren't really bothered about watching tv anyway. On the last day the water pump failed and we were without water all day. Staff did everything they could; they arranged with a local gym for us to take showers etc, but pretty poor show by the hotel that there was no back up system in place.

No bar! Breakfast very basic. On the website it looks like there is fresh fruit...there's not!

The location is good as it is just of St Catherine's Street,

It would be good if there were simple sevices like a weighing scale for your luggage, conceirge service to take your luggage and availability of food at the hotel other then breakfast. But apart from this I would stay here again as it is good value for money.

Clean &design

Unfortunately the receptionit When I came and gave me information about my room and my car's slot was really poor and Shameful. He didn't tell me that I'm Supposed to go to p3 and how I can go into my unit and how I should use my access card and even I have two of them. At the End They asked 2 Dollars for 2 Locall call. At the End Supervisor gave me credit for that. Any Way if Hotel Doesn't give me Credit on my credit card it was the First & Last Time to select Beautiful du fort hotel !

The hotel staff were very good and did not hesitate to make sure that everything was taken care of. The room was massive and the design of the room is adequate and unique.

The carpet seemed a bit dirty and the linens didnt seem to be cleaned properly.

I got a suite that was big.

Large clean beautiful suite with comfortable king bed, 2 baths and nice views of the city. Convenient parking and within walking distance of most amenities downtown.

I was in a room with my two adult sons. This number was made clear at reservation time. There were two double beds in the "King Room" and a folding cot. The folding cot was very uncomfortable. There needs to either be facility for 3 adults or the room should not be advertised as suitable for 3 adults.
