no lift, no breakfast room, only a small size towel each, hairdryer didn't work, noisey location,
All the basics (towels, shampoo, bed, shower, heating, hair dryer, fridge, wifi) is available. Front desk is super nice! Location is amazing! Only 3 minutes from the greyhound station and 7 minutes walk from the metro. Restaurants all around with a Starbucks right across the hotel.
The housekeeping lady was a little rude on the first day when we didn't speak French but she was better after that day.. maybe she had a rough day so she was grumpy. The heater is not strong enough (but we went on a week where the temperature was constantly minus twenties), so we ended up waking up with dry throats and stuffed noses.
The price was very good for a young couple and the place was good at all. I recommend
The only bad experience was the shower that was not working properly and the staff did nothing about it.
Location in downtown
Pay first and then stay The first receptionist that I talked to was unprofessional Seeing mouse in the bedroom
Everything was good!
Near to different places interesting to visit...
I hear and found in my pedestal table two mice walking around I took pictures of them. I told and showed the pictures to the person in reception, but he didn´t said and do anything about it. Incredible !!! Incredible !!!
It was close to everything, right downtown.
The heating didn't work, and one can imagine how cold it gets here in Québec. A man complained and the owner or something or other, ignored the request. Bed sheets smelled like sweat the first night, and being on the main floor, we heard all the arguments the owner had with guests and on the telephone.
A very well located for me a steps from my convention training! I was really pleased!
Only suggestion is to leave a extra blanket in the room!
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and were probably the highlight of the hotel. The complimentary breakfast, while a simple meal of coffee, OJ and crescents, was definitely welcome. The location was absolutely amazing, and there was lots to do in the area, and public transit was very accessible.
The WiFi was very inconsistent, running perfectly for 1 hour, and then doing nothing for the next. Bear this in mind if you NEED WiFi for your trip. The Starbucks across the street was more reliable for internet. Also, my girlfriend felt like the room was kind of cold, and adjusting the heat didn't do much.
Location is great, just over the road from the Greyhound bus station and on a street full of shops and restaurants. The price was great and you get breakfast included which is a croissant and a cup of tea. It was relatively clean and the staff were, on the whole, friendly and helpful.
Had a rodent problem and when I reported it I was met with aggression rather than apologies. However, we got moved across the hall but when they appeared again, we were moved downstairs where we had no further trouble. They did get pest control in the next morning and we managed to get $20 back. I would suggest asking for a room on the second floor and avoiding the third.
The room was immaculately clean, the hotel was in an amazing location close to several restaurants (including multiple vegetarian a d vegan options) and the staff was fantastic and friendly.
Walls were not super soundproof. (Although it was mostly young couples so we were all guilty of noises), room and bathroom were both small (expected for the price)
the host is very nice and polite, very thoughtful
location, not too expensive
had to pay more for extra people, had 3 people instead of 2
No free vehicle PARKING!!! No bureau de change at hotel.
- Located near the centre, trains, and many shops. - About what you would expect, given the price. - Staff are reasonably friendly.
- "Continental Breakfast" is awful. 5 days in a row of Tim Hortons muffins, often day old and refrigerated (with no other options), and horrible "coffee" (or coffee-flavoured water). - Ants. Lots of ants, everywhere, including on the breakfast trays. Leave a bagel in bag in the room, and it will be covered in ants within an hour. - Room window was facing a parking lot, and the curtains didn't close properly, so light came in at all hours.
Location, comfort and wifi were good, quiet and pretty clean
Breakfast included muffins, coffee/tea, and orange juice only
The price is good. It is very accessible to everything.
The washroom is too small. No elevator and the hallway is too narrow.
The location is excellent, right in the heart of the theatre district.
The wi-fi was so impossible to use, it made getting directions and keeping in touch with my family impossible.
Not a place for a good nights rest...but it was a good price in a central location
location and price
it;s pretty run down with stains on the floor and bed, a shower about a century past its use by date, and the breakfast consists of a paper cup of coffee and a muffin. But for the price it's hard to expect more.
Excellent staff service...the gentleman was extremely friendly, polite and helpful
Lamp sitting on floor to light up corridor; not a proper breakfast...croissant or muffin out of Costco package; flat pillow on bed
A lot of noise in the morning (7h00 am)
location price clean breakfast included
found small ants at the bathroom sink, the floor is not flat, you need to ask for TV remote-controller at the reception, WiFi was poor signal in a room but there's PC at the reception and near the reception WiFi signal became better.
Everything! Good place and location, near the Berri-UQAM Metro (Subway) on the heart of la Rue Sain Denis. Nice, old style Hotel. Great price!!
