Position excellent. Quiet Street and within walking distance of harbour, beach, museum, restaurant.

Location

Staying at the Embassy was a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the hotel is very centrally located. A delicious buffet breakfast was included. This hotel is very good value for money.

Reception staff was excellent, very helpful & informative. Excellent location with free secure parking. Bed was comfortable & free breakfast included in our rate.

Rooms were fine but a little dated, but very fair for the price. Some noise from room above.

I liked the room. v clean and i liked the little balcony. wish i could have stayed longer. The cooked breakfast buffet was v tasty esp the hash browns

It's location, we were able to walk to everything. free parking. Spacious suite. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.

The location is amazing, just besides the Parliament building. And the included breakfast is good.

It would be good to have at least a fridge in the bedroom, because I stayed with my wife and my son in a double room and it would be useful to have one.

We booked on line, and were booked into the old wing with a very old kitchenette which we did not want. It smelled musty and had an old tv that was almost unwatchable, a bathroom so small the vanity hung over the tub. It reminded me of the fifties.when I complained I was told that all on line bookings are booked into that wing. Meanwhile later bookings were booked into the new wing....and we were charged ten dollars extra for the kitchenette, which we did not want. When I complained, we were moved, but only after their first night spent in the grotty room.

Everything was liked.....

It was clean, comfortable, quiet and a nice place to stay for a few days.

The bathroom needed some more counter space to put personal items on so I found it skimpy and had to use the floor. It's a big bathroom and don't see why more counter wasn't incorporated in it when it was remodeled. There was lots of bars for safety, which I used. One other thing is that we found the Restaurant not very efficient. Like when we first were seated, there was no cutlery on the table, when she brought us coffee. Then the next day the pancakes were burnt on the bottom, and the butter was very hard and wouldn't even melt on the pancakes. The waitress finally put it in the Microwave. Also it always seemed to take so long for service. It just wasn't well managed, as far as staff goes. It's a very nice Restaurant otherwise.

There were no complaints, the breakfast was really good, lots to choose from, the rooms were clean, the location is right downtown Victoria, and the price was reasonable.

I loved the fact that it is a very central location. Next time I will stay in the main building. I'm coming back to Victoria in the fall. The staff helped me unravel the mess that Booking.com made in double booking me!

The fixed window above the h/c unit was full of condensation and very cloudy due to lack of maintenance or the result of broken glass seal. Should be replaced. Spoiled the beautifull view.

The staff was very friendly. The food was good, and having breakfast included was very nice. The location was very good as well. The maids did an excellent job!
