The cleanliness, staff and the convenience of checking in and out. I should say "the least I like" is: the room that I stayed is facing the road and every morning the sound of vehicles passing by wakes me up...

The location was good for walking around downtown and walking distance to acc The hotel didn't have the room we had booked in Feb for last weekend, wanted to charge more money than booking guarantee for smoking room, when that was what was paid for. Very dirty hotel, room was disgusting, stains on linens... Staff was extremely unprofessional and confrontational.... Awful experience!!! Why book something so far in advance when it's not going to be there when you get there, despite a booking guarantee. No on site parking, no elevators and smelt awful all throughout hotel. No bar fridge in room despite asking for one, and the hotel saying there is one in very room.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, it was quiet. Breakfast could have offered more variety. There were only bagels, bread, and cereal. Nothing hot.

Convenience to sights I wanted to see. Price was good. No real extras. "Breakfast" was pointless.

I stayed in two rooms of this hotel merely because it was in fairly close proximity to the girlfriend of my wife's 21-year-old grandson, who accompanied me, when we travelled to Toronto from Vancouver to be present at the Grey Cup CFL final being played in Toronto. This is a shabby, old hotel, saved only by the professionalism of the desk staff. My room's heating (as distinct from the other room of my wife's grandson) did not function at all for the five days of our visit. The building's steam heating is provided by the city and since it was not properly serviced it clanged and banged continually, day and night, robbing us of much sleep in our respective rooms. There is no elevator serving the three floors, so that if the guest is elderly, negotiating the stairs is difficult.

The price was excellent for a hotel in Toronto. Staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. The room was small and a little tired, but we only needed a place to lay our heads after Grey Cup.

This was the only hotel room that we found abailable in the city during Grey Cup Weekend. Actually we were quite pleased with it, althought it was very small. We were in for the Opera so did not spend much time in the room. The Front Desk staff were really nice!! When you come in by train as we did , by the map it looked a lot closer than it was.. Not sure if that was the regular price for the room....or because it wad G.C. weekend! Thought it was a little pricey

Apart from the location, for which there are many other hotels, this property was filthy, not kept up, priced at par with far better hotels as I've stayed at them. I will never stay at this or other Econo Lodge facilities and I will be sure to tell anyone what a filthy, dirty, ill kept, over priced hotel this is. When pubic hairs can readily be seen on the bathroom floor and tub corners, one knows what can't be seen. Horrible.

Definitely the location. We got a very noisy room. Noise came from outside and from the inner corridor. The room was close to the reception/ lobby; whole night traffic, talkings etc. No parking. Almost no place to stop and load/unload stuff.

staff has no right to recemend the nearby parking lot. i had my window broken and everything stolen. it seems its a regular occurence caused by a nearby homeless house and everyone i talked to knew about the problem. if your driveing use the nearby hotels parking

Reasonably priced and the location was not bad The price of the stay had continantel breakfast included but it was dreadfull Had cheap bread with a choice of jams or cheese spread, cheap cerals, tea and coffee with one choice of milk only full cream Had foam cups/plates where the bread did not fit on the plates The person looking after the breakfast area was wiping the crumbs of the tables onto the floor - very poor Also you could hear the above guests walking around from the above rooms as the floors creaked a lot

This is a sleeper. It was clean, quiet, and friendly--more like a European hotel. The staff came through every time with information, help, etc., and they did it with good sprirt. I had a four or five block walk to my conference hotel and was paying 1/3 less than my colleagues. I also had free internet and continental breakfat. It's no-frills, but I was too involved with y conference to have time for frills. I would definitely return on a future trip to Toronto.

Location excellent. Had smoking rooms. Staff at reception very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping services rather erratic. Took all used towels to clean one day and did not replace; took soap only just opened and did not replace, etc. Breakfast not very good selection for someone who does not eat a number of things.
