The hotel is basic and the rooms a little old, but it is good value for the location and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
Good location to explore the city
This hotel is good if you're on a budget. Great location, and mostly clean hotel room. Don't let the bad reviews scare you away.
At floor level, it got a little noisy from the traffic out the window. And there was a grape tomato behind the tv. Aside from that, the breakfast was toast and cereal. Lame.
Location, confortaable beds and the day we left
Old carpets, pieces of nail and long dark hair on it.all the hotel smell of feet, somewhere of pee!small washroom with all the floor dirty.we were carefull to use the wc that moving and swings on the floor because is wrong in all the room.It need a long maintenance.
Room had kitchen and there was a laundry available for guests. Good price.
Near busy road, the room was a bit run down and the location was too far from tourist areas.
Nice client service. Friendly.
Wasn't clean Bugs in bathroom Room was tiny Small breakfast
The room was quiet, located on the top floor at the back of the hotel. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast area was clean. The staff seemed helpful and friendly. It was well located within walking distance of town but relatively quiet.
The breakfast could be better. It was very basic, some fresh fruit would have been nice. I was not impressed with the disposable utensils, plates, bowls, and cups. The room was very drab and dark and needs updating and so do the stairs and landings. The carpets could do with a good clean. The pillows were lumpy and I was chilly at night. The bedding was quite warm enough but there were no extra blankets in the room. I would have preferred a duvet to blankets and bedspread. I wonder how often these are cleaned.
Professional and helpful staff. Modest but satisfactory breakfast. Available and dependable wi fi.
Location Clean room Coffeemaker in Room Wifi Value for money
Breakfast a bit simple, Coffee was good though.
Location in town
No parking for a car
There are many negatives about this property, however if location & value for the dollars spent matter--this place delivers.
Small room size
Convenient location to Hospitals with in 15 minute walk. Should have hospital discount.
Parking should be included 4 nights stay cost over $500 which is a bit pricey to lay your head down.
Staff friendly and helpful. Included breakfast.
Noisy due to lack of sound proofing between floors.
nice polite staff and clean rooms
did not care to walk up the street to park and having to pay $23. for 24 hours
Close to most places of interest. 5 minutes by cab from the railway station. 3 blocks from the restaurants, shops etc of Yonge St
Room was dusty
The view out the window to containers in an backyard
i liked the bed it was comfortable. then the Philippine guy at the cdesk was really helpful and Jacob helped to get my laugage
a total change of the carpet and a little addition to the breakfast like bacon, sausage and eggs. a guest laundry and a standby restaurant are services that would have made my stay better
Basic but clean
The AC didn't work, so there was a very loud unit placed in the middle of the room. Bed was lumpy and mattress sagged into the middle.
good location,free wi-fi,nice stuff
poor breakfast, few options to eat,no any fruits
The ad says queen room but you get a small double bed, this is mis-leading. The A/C was not working so they cut a hole in the window and put in a portable A/C which took up alot of the tiny room. And it was so loud ! The floor was not cleaned properly as we found a candy behind the door. Stay somewhere else !
the room was big and was the only positive thing in the hotel.
Let's begin from the staff. When we arrived to the hotel we asked to do an early check in, but Jacob at the reception didn't wanted to help us and told us to come back 6 hours later, after we've been in 12 hours flight to Toronto. This thing made us so mad and our first day was horrible because of that. In Addition, the breakfast is so minimally, only cheap bread and cheese and peanut butter, and also some cereals. While the hotel is consider a downtown hotel, its 15 minutes walk from the center of downtown (eaton center, dundas yange square), the subway is 10 minutes walk. The immediate blocks of the hotel are full of homeless people and other "fruit cake".
dirty floor(gumdrop behind the door) double bed , not a queen bed AC broken so they put in a mobile AC with a hole thru the window
