was able to book same day - lots of snow and attending a concert out of town. Glad we could find a room.
It's beside a strip club but that doesn't excuse the dust in the ceiling fixtures, dirty washroom and broken lamp. Why have coffee pouches and no coffee maker?
Location just out of downtown.quick drive to anything.
Some things in room didn't work properly or were missing
Friendly staff, a comfortable room and value for money is a great combination.
Beds comfortable and clean. Staff / owners were friendly and helpful.
Furniture dusty, carpet near door had traces of cereal (not vacuumed well enough). $89 a night was a bit high for a mediocre room, but we only stayed one night so it was bearable.
Dirty, no heat, hard bed and discusting
Bad odour at the entrance. Moldy smells at the stair well and along the hallways. Refrigerators were dirty with leftover rotten food front previous lodgers. An alternative room offered was even worse. Fridge was stacked on a writing/work table. Its small freezer was filled with frost. The rag used to clean the inside of the fridge in the room I settled for was like a rag from a gutter or a sewer. Hygiene is grossly missing in this facility.
would not recommend the location to anyone.
It was very close to the Budweiser Gardens were our concert was.
Very tired building... owners/managers inexperienced..
Gentlemens club next door so lots of noise thru the night. Stayed for my 8hrs and got the hell out. Fortunately there were two beds, one was broken & the tv reception was bad and the remote only turned the tv off and on nothing else. I will never stay there again.
Rooms are a bit dated.
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There was a man dealing drugs on our floor right out in the open. Our room had not been cleaned properly. My puppy dragged out q-tips, cigarrette cartons, bottle tops, plastic wrap and cigarrette butts. There was something splattered on the ceiling of the bathroom as well as the walls of the bathroom were filthy. Because I had booked through Booking.com, I was committed to staying there for the 2 nights. The doors to the rooms did not close, so if you weren't careful, it would stay open. I was actually afraid to sleep in the sheets because I wasn't sure if they were clean or not. I slept in my clothes. There were others that had not had their rooms cleaned at all before the checked in. They checked out and found a far better hotel and the same rates. I have absolutely nothing nice to say about this hotel. It was a hotel I will never go to again nor will I let anyone I know go there either. In fact, I don't know if I'll ever stay in another Econo Lodge again. If I could get my money back, I would!!!!!
staff were friendly and accommodating
I had to ask for some towels, they had not put any in my room ( But they were apologetic). The hair dryer didn't work.
Staff helpfull Good pillows
Location Terrible breakfast Bed needs replacement
Staff very helpful, helped me in with luggage as soon as I checked in. As for location, I was at a convention and I was able to walk to my meetings. Good choice of breakfast items!
first night was a little busy with folks in the hallways, but found out that the whole city of London had a lot of students running around that Saturday night. Nights after that were very quiet and I was able to get quality sleep.
Wi-fi was great
Room was gross not clean they need to redo all the rooms
Extremely friendly owners. They helped us a lot and gave us lot of information as we were absolutely new in this city. I would definitely recommend this place to other travelers, although the property is a bit old.
Some appliances in the room broken (namely the iron board)
close to almost everything
shower had a weird drain system
The staff were really nice and there was a free breakfast with coffee. Also the air conditioner worked well.
The bathroom didn't have a vent/fan or a lock on the sliding door...
it was a nice hotel, rooms were a decent size and comfortable.
WiFi was intermittent, slow and didn't work the majority of the stay. The furniture was dated, and one of the lamps had a damaged wire that resulted in a shock when being plugged into the socket. The breakfast bar was dismal, with watery coffee, sour orange juice and stale bagels.
The price was good.
I had a hard time getting my room deposit back. I paid by debit card and when i checked out, i was told i was refunded. Got home and checked my statement and there was no refund. Took almost two weeks to get it back after numerous phone calls.
The flexibility of the staff for checking out time. Also breakfast was good.
Air conditioner was too noisy
No towels, dirty floor
