- Budget Friendly - Great Location - Good heating/air-conditioning
- Can hear other people if they speak a little louder than indoor voice - Some appliances lamps, and outlets didn't work - Bad pillows
they should get the vending machine working
quite and convenient
If you need a place to sleep that is clean a fairly comfortable with a friendly staff, then this place provides great value for the money.
Walls are thin so ear plugs might be very useful. Might be due to location of rooms.
Accepte les fumeurs
Pas beaucoup de poste français a la TV.
free breakfast free WiFi very clean newly renovated great price
small rooms WiFi not excellent
Location price and value
The staff is very nice and friendly. The hotel have a good localization, close to metro estations and downtown.
There are acustic problems in the walls and in the floor. During our stay we had problems with neighboring guests on the upper level that walked all the time int the room and an disturbed us a lot during the all night. It happen during two consecutive nights. We complained to the attendant but didn't work. I'd like to suggest the staff to recomend the guest to not walking in the room using boots (during the night) to avoid disturbing other guests. Another suggestion is to improve the acustic isolation between rooms.
It was clean, had hot showers, was affordable, and was a 10 minute walk from anywhere we wanted to be. Staff was very friendly and spoke english.
The only thing we thought they could be a bit better on was breakfast. It was free - which was great - but was mainly juice and bagels/toast.
We've been coming here for many years and watched this hotel improve with each visit. The staff is very friendly, hotel is clean, breakfast of breads, croissants, bagels and fruit; coffee/tea and juices all refreshed frequently during the breakfast hours. Hotel is within walking distance of Place des Arts, Art Museums, shopping and cafes. Great value for the money. We are now booking here again for the 2015 Montreal Jazz Festival
Excellent attendance, good localization( next to principal attractions). Worth it breakfast(Without frills).
Untrue call center' information. They should have better pillows, WiFi and definetely clean the HVAC unit. I had allergy in all days of my stay.
Location is very well, large and very nice room with king bed !
Front desk was absolutely wonderful, very helpful. I had to book a room last minute and they were very accommodating. Nice, basic room, great for the price (I paid 46 dollars at the time). Quiet, just a 5-10 minute walk from busy pub street.
Pretty slow wifi and small, plain breakfast (cold old croissants and machine coffee/OJ).
great staff, clean and comfortable
no restaurant in hotel
-Big room and bed -Fair Breakfast and very good staff always ready to help -Excellent Service -Every day room cleaning -Overall comfort well provided -Excellent location and parking almost free if you can park in the streets.
-Moist in the Bath tub -Very old and "yellow used " bath tub -Old bed sheets, cover and pillows -Hairs in the bed -slow wifi for regular email browing!
It wasn't as bad as I sxpected.Rooms were clean, bed was pretty clean and big.Management was very helpful
Breakfast included was pretty basic Wifi barely worked
The staff were helpful and the hotel was worth the price and I will definitely recommend the hotel, we enjoyed our stay
The Wi-Fi was not the greatest, it was fluctuating, but manageable
Price and location
WiFi did not work
Breakfast was of poor quality. Bathroom did not have a tub.
Bed was decently comfy and I was very scared by all the negative reviews on Google complaining of bedbugs but luckily I must have been put in a recently cleaned room because I experienced no such inconveniences. Room is small but not quite as much as I thought it would've been. Heating/Air-conditioning device works terrifically and does its job quickly.
Kitchen facilities are non-existent. Ice machine is only on the first floor. Staff are extremely shady though on our final day we had a nice woman help us with the checkout. Lighting is terrible with no main central light in the room but lamps everywhere. Major lack of convenient power sockets too. Only two were found near the table. Television is old and still has that 2000's electrical static emanating from it. No late checkout policies, they charge you $10 from every hour after noon. Breakfast is only from 7-10am and the location is most strange. The hotel's entrance is literally partway up a hill so it was very slippery in winter. If you have heavy luggage, be careful. View from my room was terrible and I was quite literally looking at the opposite inner wall of the hotel. Complimentary toiletries are almost non-existent. All they provide is solid handsoap and towels.
