Breakfast was of poor quality. Bathroom did not have a tub.
Bed was decently comfy and I was very scared by all the negative reviews on Google complaining of bedbugs but luckily I must have been put in a recently cleaned room because I experienced no such inconveniences. Room is small but not quite as much as I thought it would've been. Heating/Air-conditioning device works terrifically and does its job quickly.
Kitchen facilities are non-existent. Ice machine is only on the first floor. Staff are extremely shady though on our final day we had a nice woman help us with the checkout. Lighting is terrible with no main central light in the room but lamps everywhere. Major lack of convenient power sockets too. Only two were found near the table. Television is old and still has that 2000's electrical static emanating from it. No late checkout policies, they charge you $10 from every hour after noon. Breakfast is only from 7-10am and the location is most strange. The hotel's entrance is literally partway up a hill so it was very slippery in winter. If you have heavy luggage, be careful. View from my room was terrible and I was quite literally looking at the opposite inner wall of the hotel. Complimentary toiletries are almost non-existent. All they provide is solid handsoap and towels.
Everything you need
Good, helpful staff Great room Clean Great location Excellent breakfast for "continental-style" Excellent price
It was all good except...
The room beside us and a few more had a very late party:(
Central. Staff friendly and courteous. A few minutes from central town and art shows etc.
good price and good location, in addition stuff is really helpful and freindly
Everything smelled of cigarettes.
I liked everything about my stay. The location for the pric is un beatable. The staff friendly and courteous. I plan to stay there a lot over the next two years while I work on a project between Montreal and T.O.
This hotel smells very bad
First room had a four foot stair as you walked in and the TV didn't work. The second room would not lock properly. Had to go down to the desk to get a iron and board. Parking is really not available for hotel guests. Only 12 spots for the entire hotel and its a 5 minute walk. If you're 18 and in town to hit the clubs, this is where you stay, only if there is a discount on the room
Central, welcoming, clean etc.
The Hotel charged us INR 8538.93 on 11.10.14 and again on INR9780 on 14.10.14.Please see that they return the amount. I can send you the credit card statement too if you like. They were very cagey at the reception counter too and assured us that the second amount was only a holding deposit. Please make them aware too that this is unacceptable. Thanks
general helpful attitude and friendly staff
The breakfast was good. The hotel was clean and cleaning staff was nice.
There was no water available. The first hotel that asked me to pay in full at the start of my stay. I had to get my mom to transfer money despite time difference.
Ease to get in and out with the reservation.
1] The 1st night, the receptionist placed me in a smoker's room and floor. I had a headache by midnight & had to call about a room change the next day. He did not read my reservation. 2] Second room had no heat, thus poor sleep x 2 nights.
Parking is too far and hard to find, old hotel needs renovation , small romes and very basic
Very central, clean, hospitable. economic!
The staff was very helpful, when I asked to switch rooms
Burn marks on the rug
This is not the first time im staying here, but this girl at the reception was new to me and she was a little rude. But overall this is one of the cheapest hotels to stay at, and its very well located if you want to party and have fun
This place gets pretty loud on a weekend becasue a lot of kids are travelling to Mtl from the states, but overall i had a pleasant experience
Location, breakfast good
