Score from 92 reviews Excellent
Easy access to a number of restaurants and other shops that were available at a number of shopping centers that were across the street from the motel.
hotel was in complete shambles-construction debris everywhere-room patched up to make it barely liveable-access was extremely poor- would have to come a long way to entice me to stay there again-they should have shut down to do their construction-
Friendly staff was very accommodating. Very quiet considering the location. Close to restaurants and shopping.
The staff wasn't really friendly. Need more training about hospitality. No smile at all.
Room with NO windows toward outside. Air conditioning should be upgraded.
Renovations taking place. I will try this hotel again when demos are completed. The location is great for our needs.
Breakfast was very sparse and very little room to eat.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
There were absolutely no amenities. On the hotel website they listed and showed a picture of a restaurant which was non existent. Breakfast was basically a choice of two cereals. Office hours were limited. They were not available before 7am or available in the evenings. Since the cereal was in the office, an early breakfast was out of the question. The hotel was under repairs which made it inconvenient to access your room. Lots to dislike basically.
the man at the desk had a big smile
My TV didn't work, the front desk didn't answer the phone, the renovations weren't mentioned in the ad or discount, ie: plywood stairs, all prepacked baked goods in the breakfast, no yogourt, tiny table to sit at
ac, microwave and fridge
train,,,construction, i left b4 breakfst, needed allergy meds
My husband and I very recently stayed at the Econo Lodge in Edmonton, AB. I have to say that the overall experience (housekeeping, customer service, etc) was very disappointing. I was a housekeeper for a well known hotel chain for 4 years and as such, know what the minimum standard should be for cleanliness and customer service. The room we got was disgusting. Never have I stayed in a hotel where the housekeepers didn't clean the coffee from the previous guest out of the coffee pot, or clean the soap scum out of the shower/bath. Not to mention that the furniture was broken and the pillows were completely unacceptable lumps that didn't even resemble pillows. The bed was broken in such a way that guests would be sleeping with their feet elevated above their heads. I do not know of a single person who would find that even remotely comfortable. My Husband and I will be telling everyone we know to not stay at that hotel.
place under construction,no elevator
The staff was willing to give us our money back when we didn't stay the full weekend which was good
Beds weren't comfortable. Tub was dirty. People were making noise outside early in the morning and later at night. There were homeless people standing out front and urinating toward oncoming traffic really put me off. Over all left me with a bad taste in my mouth so to speak.
A Walmart across street
No window that opens
The manager was very friendly I had a very long 16 hour day he got me checked in and set up immediately
All was good
It closes my training location.
It's renovating now.
I did not like anything there .
The room was nice, and decently sized
The guy working at the front desk was very rude, and me and my friends did not like how we were treated. And that we could not fix our broken down truck in the parking lot. We were supposed to tow it to another location,
I had asked for a ground floor room as my mother is elderly - the staff did accomodate my request and said I could park in a non park spot so she wouldn't have to walk so far and gave me the room closest to the stairs as they had no elevator
tub didn't drain tv didn't work couldn't turn heat off -was too hot and had to leave door ajar in order to sleep free breakfast was awful - it consisted of old bread bagels english muffins brown fruit - not fresh at all not very attractive overall look of hotel as it was in construction - should have been just closed down
Site under construction
Price was one of the lowest posted rates
The rating (6.4) was high given the poor quality service from staff. The room was relatively clean but very old and tired. They advertise "free breakfast" but the facility and quality was so poor that we ate elsewhere, so the cost savings I was anticipating wasn't realized. Will not stay there again.
Good location and good value for the money.
Noise from the rail at the back of the hotel.
