The room was clean, spacious and welcoming. Staff were exceptional and the breakfast was the excellent....yeah for the waffles!

Maybe some maple syrup?

The room was nicely decorated and clean. The hotel was very stylish and modern. The continental breakfast was really nice with lots of selection. The free parking and value service was most appreciated. We loved having a window that could be opened.

The walls were thin; we could hear our neighbours arguing and a loud TV late into the night. There was also lots of noise from the street down below.

Excellent location. I wish I had asked for the phone number of the girl who checked me in.

Parking, leaving, price was a bit much.

I liked the look of the hotel

I didn't like, that it was my first time booking a hotel ever and was un told of and un aware that I needed a credit card to check in. There was nothing on the website that said anything of the sort. I am from rocky mountain house and had to drive all the way back home (on my birthday, 2 n a half hours away) at 7 pm because I was not told I needed a credit card.

It was a great stay! I loved being on Whyte and being able to walk outside right on to Whyte ave!

No valet parking for our SUV, but there was parking near by about a block away. That was fine because it was warm out. If it would of been cold,not so good!!!

The design of this hotel is beautiful, location is fantastic and shopping/ dining/ entertainment is superb!

Parking is extremely limited because of the location.

We have visited this property before and found it consistently excellent. Friendly staff and interesting location. The valet parking and included breakfast is the added bonus.

Great location and service. The front desk called up soon after I got into the room and asked how everything was. It's a very nice hotel as well, comfortable and spacious, and I liked the TV.

Great location and exceptional service. This Hotel is very well situated for boutique shopping and some excellent eateries.

The room was clean but had some serious stains on the carpet that detracted from its appearance. The beds are not very comfortable. The bathroom did not have the walk in shower and/or spa tub we were expecting from the online pictures. Also the toilet is awkwardly close to the vanity which makes use of the sink quite uncomfortable. Although the need for Valet parking is appreciated, given the restricted parking available around the Hotel, the loading zone out front of the hotel is often full requiring guests to find an alternate location to drop off or load luggage. I would not recommend parking in the lot across Whyte Ave. From the Hotel. Its small, uneven, filled with pot holes and surrounded by curbing. Security is also an issue.

The very nice bed lines and mattresses plus windows that open at this hospitable hotel. Nice complementary breakfast with a nice assortment of food. Lovely wine and cheese at 5pm and a great location on Whyte ave close to boutiques, restaurants and the University. Complementary Valet parking is a nice touch. We have stayed often

Takes a long time to get your car from Valet parking so request it early

the valet service was at the varscona 1 block away and i waited about 30 minutes when i wanted to get my vehicle

The location was perfect and there is lots to do right out the front door. Shopping, pubs,clubs and coffee shops. Wine tasting and breakfast were both great features. The room was quiet and spacious and the bed was very comfy. Any staff we spoke with was great.

Nice tv but terrible picture. Housekeeping missed a few small things.

Nice room, friendly staff. Clean and well kept . Modern feel, and a great location in the middle of Old Stratchona. Beds are perfect, with a nice selection of different pillows. Very comfortable with pillow top mattress. We got a free upgrade, yey!

Some noise from the streets outside Breakfast left us a little wanting, very basic, and an employee decided it was the prudent moment to start vacuuming while people were eating at 0800 in the morning. 10 out of 10 for work ethics, 1 out of 10 for timing.

The location was excellent on Whyte ave, near resturants, shopping etc.

Being right on Whyte ave, it is noisy at night.

Nicely furnished and well designed. The beds were comfy and the room was clean.

With no light proof curtains curtains and a noisy AC compressor outside the window it's very tough to get a good night's sleep. Valet parking is slow - really slow. Breakfast lacked some basic stuff like milk and disposable cups to take coffee.

Spacious well out-fitted room, very comfortable bed and pillows, pleasant and helpful staff, in-room bar fridge and microwave, windows that open,proximity to restaurants and shopping, breakfast had a good variety of items.

The street noise woke me up at night.The exercise room could use some sprucing up.
