A lot of noise from the street.

Great view from our nice room, good location, lots of services in hotel (pub, restaurant, whirlpool), good value

Looked like the only airconditioning was stand alone units in both rooms - in our kids' room it was very hot in the morning

Great location near Inner Harbor, Royal BC Museum, Houses of Parliament, Pacific Coach bus, Victoria Clipper. Nice helpful staff. Fantastic view from very comfortable 14th floor 2 bedroom suite with kitchen.

Great hotel with excellent rooms. The location is the best, only 1.5 blocks to the harbour water edge, just behind the Empress. We were high enough to have a great view, even though it did not face the harbour. Victoria itself was fantastic. Relaxing walks and excellent food.

The fact that I could see some of the city from my window.

The fact that it was on an incline. Also, it was a little hard to find the hotel.

It was in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. Would definately recommend this hotel.

There was no fridge and for medication wise a fridge would be a great facility.

Staff were helpful and frendly which helped us as first time visitors to Victoria . Hotel was central to all the places we had planed to visit .

The staff were excellent

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to help and get us information. The price was also very reasonable and the beds were very comfortable. Made me want to take the bed home with me.

There was nothing that we didn't like. The first room they put us in had no insulation from the next door room and they moved us immediately after we asked. I have no complaints!

I have one small complaint. The coffee maker in my room didn't work and I reported it at the desk but nothing was done about it.

Great central location for harbour area of Victoria. Conveniently across the street from Convention Centre where my conference was located. Great restaurants and pub and had kitchenette suites which would accommodate a longer term stay.

The upper floors have a great view. Very comfortable room,good beds and chairs for relaxing.

No air conditioning,so it was hot for sleeping, Even in May. When on the 1st floor you hear the next room from the proximity of the windows.

Rooms were quiet, clean and updated. My father, (92) was pleased with the higher toilets. Bar and restaurant friendly, food good.

Didn't get my wake up call. Good thing we had ordered room service as they woke us up!

The rooms were too hot and check in was a disaster. Someone messed up the room allocation with several in my group getting the wrong type of rooms. The hotel blamed Booking.com for the mix-up, I'm not sure if that is the case

The staff were all very polite and helpful. The proximity of the hotel restaurants and lounge was also nice. The room was clean and it was handy to have a microwave, fridge and coffee-maker in our room.

The room was very hot, even though we had the air conditioner turned on. I had e-mailed the hotel with questions a few days before we arrived, and never received a reply. I eventually found the answers to my questions by searching the hotel website (this took a while, since the answers weren't easy to find), but I wasn't happy to be ignored.

Have stayed a number of times, staff have always been extremly helpful, hotel clean and comfortable, close to down town, easy access

hotel was older but in good repair, staff excellent bell Hop service even better. enjoyed stay it provide me everyhting I was expecting

parking was total chaos no control or guidance for arriving quest, no signage of any type to guide guest to available parking. there is valet parking but the forgot to tell anyone
