Hotel Eldorado    

Friendly staff, great rooms, beautiful views.

I liked the food and the staff were friendly

my roon was tiny with a view of the lake if you stood on your toes through a small window. not good! also I could hear every noise that everyone made. I would not stay at this hotel again because it did not give me a comfortable and quiet stay

Food in teh restaurant was excellent; location of the hotel was great and we enjoyed the view from our generous balcony

Room was a bit noisy on 2nd floor because of people walking above with shoes on hardwood floors

The view was unsurpassed. They dropped off a newspaper for us and had a hot coffee station down the hall which was lovely. We spent our mornings our on the deck overlooking the lake and sipping our coffee. The evenings were spent in the bar downstairs, excellent food and a great crowd. We like things a bit slower paced, this bar would be comfortable for any age group

As the hotel is rather old there was a lot of noise. You could clearly hear people walking in the halls, and unfortunatley our room was above the restaurant which was hosting a birthday. Dispite all that I had no trouble sleeping and wasn't woken up ever. The hallway noise was the only thing that was slightly disturbing.

I really liked the ambiance, history and photos on the walls. Our room didn't have a view but it was very nice.

The TV was difficult to operate.

Good Location

Thin walls, very noisy! I heard a 'clunk' or 'slam' noise the entire night. Worst nights sleep ever in a hotel I payed $100 for...

Pool & hot tub

The rooms were very cute. Very cape cod like. They upgraded us to a lake view room when we arrived.

The pool was very small.

We had a great time. We love the older part of the hotel. The hotel has so much character.

In the evening we could hear noise from the dining room. When we paid online for the room it did mention it however the way it was written I didnt read it until after i had pre-paid. It wasn't that big a deal but it was one thing we didnt like.

Shower was quite loud if you're still in bed trying to sleep.

Well run small hotel. very comfortable. Stayed in their new wing. Everything that I needed was met or exceeded.

The front desk staff were extremely friendly upon our arrival so our first impression was fantastic. : ) The room was great, the bed was very comfortable and the room service quick. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely be back.

Great location and different from other hotels

Beds were hard, alarm woke me and had to go stand outside, people above were quite noisey

My room was very clean, spacious and well decorated. The hotel has a very nice restaurant and bar overlooking the lake. The staff was wonderful.

Unfortunately there are two very large parking lots in front of the hotel. It is too bad because it took away the ambiance of this wonderful hotel.

Like the lakeside location.

Had a lot of issues with getting the TV to work, needed the technician twice. Too many steps to turn a simple TV on, signal needed adjusting, telus box needed re setting etc

A hotel with a lot of character. The bar was a happening place. We enjoyed our stay!

The Eldorado is a beautiful lakeside-location hotel. View of the lake from my room and there is also a rooftop terrace for vista views in all directions. My room was spacious and bright. There is a lakeside boardwalk for el fresco dining but there is also a pub and a dining room. The food was great! I would love to stay again....soon.

Location and well run rooms.

Food service in the restaurant was exceptionally slow. Food was excellent but it took forever.
