When I first arrived at the hotel, it took me 10 minutes of waiting and
telephoning to get someone to appear at the front desk. Also, the
breakfast was awful. A dry croissant and/or muffin served on a tray
covered with kitchen towel, with a styrofoam cup of coffee, and another
of orange juice that had clearly been prepared the night before as it
had settled at the bottom of the cup. Also, despite the simplicity, you
could not serve yourself, it was all handed to you by a lady who I
suspect was there to make sure that each guest only had one portion
each, but just made the atmosphere very tense.
Very conveniently located next to the Gare d'Autocars, and close
to plenty of bars and restaurants. The room itself was fine, but in
need of refurbishment, although its quiet location at the back of the
hotel was good.
