Everyone was so friendly and helpful, the lady who looked after breakfast was amazing We stayed for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon but the next morning when housekeeping came the sheets hadn't been changed

The seafood buffet was plentiful and a wide variety. The staff was warm and friendly. Unfortunately, I was sick that night after dinner. Don't know if it was food poisioning or the flu. I didn't like the fact the staff in the Spa gathered around the front desk and chatted for a lengthy time. My husband had a massage and could hear a child talking outside his massage room the whole time. Not very relaxing.There was a child running around in the Spa reception area while we had a whirlpool

- Rooms were spacious and comfortable. - Spa was warm and inviting - Spa attendants were knowledgeable and and explained the service. - Fireplace do not work - I had asked for my steak to be well-done but there was still allot of red meat in the middle. I did not send it back as we had already waited 15 - 30 minutes for our main course

The massage I recieved from Charity was the best part of my stay. The sea food buffet is over priced,and I was very disapointed that the rooms no longer have bath tubs.

It was a very clean room, the history was very interesting and viewing the other rooms were interesting as well. The buffet breakfast was very good and a very nice change not having just a continental breakfast! The grounds were beautiful! Love all the fountains too. Didnt get a chance to check out the spa unfortunetly being it was our anniversary that would have been a bonus. Very friendly staff! Loved the fact that there were robes in the closet for use too.I would love to go back again! We had a very noisy stay. There was a wedding going on when we were there and there was a bunch of guys in the hallway hollering and carrying on thru the evening and then again in the middle of the night they started up again!

We stayed at the Elmhurst In for a family wedding that was held there. Everything was perfect, the food, the staff , and the venue Hats off to the staff Parking was a bit of an issue, since it was raining heavily and Wedding guests got really wet, running from the distant parking lot, and not alot of handicapped parking, that we could see. If there are any future plans for a drive thru entry with a roof, that would be great!!

Restaurant was great!, Property grounds, shower/bathroom very nicely designed The weekend front desk clerk (upon our arrival) clearly lacked in social skills/professional hotel courtesy skills (in other words, a total drip!). The snack machine was broken, the chair in the room was uncomfortable to sit in. Not to mention only one chair in the room (no couch). Aside from the tv for entertainment, there was nothing else to do for evening.

The gardens are beautiful. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. The rooms had nice decor, spacious with lots of character. The breakfast included had a nice selection. The air conditioning unit was blowing very strongly onto one side of the bed and there was no way to slow down the fan or redirect the air flow. Having the airflow directly on you while trying to sleep was annoying, but there was an ample supply of pillows suitable for building a small wall to block the cold air. Simply turning off the unit was not an option as I prefer to sleep in the cold at night.
