Loved the fireplace and sleeper sofa for my college aged son Happy Hour was terrific Food was very good
Many things closed day after New Years Did not expect that
Location and condition of Hotel are excellent. Managers happy hour was great as well as breakfast.
Hotel is no longer pet friendly. After reading past reviews we decided to include our small dog. Unfortunetly we found out when we arrived that the policy had changed in May and our dog was not welcomed. After talking with the manager it was decided she could stay if we paid a $35 fee for pet clean up. Be aware!
Location, room was beautiful, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast and soirée at night were great, bed was comfortable
Paid wifi, parking was paid and underground parking was hard to park with a truck, big kitchen but nothing to use with it - no cutlery
Rooms were beautiful, bed was very comfy,
Cable froze non stop Took hours to find a spot underground to park, spots were full and paid 25$ a night, wasted a lot of time there! Restaurant was horrible, 20 mins for a drink another 20 mins to order food, we left didn't want to wait hours to eat! Took an hour to check in, machine was down, they only have one machine?? Come on hilton! Forced to get cash so we could go rest after 8 hour drive!
Room is so large Location of the hotel
Using internet only at the looby Parking is not convienet Recpition location close to main enterance Resaturent is so smal for this big hotel so it is so croweded in the morning
proximity to the old city, inclusive full breakfast each day friendly helpful staff
Nice Location. Clean and spacious room. Breakfast was nice.
Parking was pricy. No vending machines or store nearby to pick up forgotten items.
I liked everything the hotel was really nice the rooms , location I give it thumbs up
slow wifi, unhelpful front desk
the room and spa bath were great.
breakfast was chaotic. So many things were missing (plates, forks, food, coffee), we had to wait in line for 30 mins, cooks were extremely rude.
Location Free drink tickets
Price No late check out
Free breakfast .. always good for a family without to have to pay extra ...better to be included .The location is good with China town close for a good Chinese meal as well as the old Montreal and the rather close ... A small walk yo the underground city ..yen access to all Montreal. Good to have parking too and easy access by car.
Room was being done at 10 am when we came back from breakfast when we did not plan for it ( personal belongings all over the place including wallet etc ...) usually it is done after checking out .....
Basically everything, from the king suite with hot tube to the complimentary drinks at the bar. Very clean, very comfortable. Outstanding!
Breakfast doesn't nearly measure up to the standards of a 4 star hotel. Very disorganized, very limited selection of food, terrible coffee, long line ups. Only plus is the cook-to-order crepes.
Value for money, breakfast, comp drinks, size of room
Hard to say
Location in Old Montreal was excellent.Breakfast included was very good. Hotel very clean and well run.
We had checked the reviews previous to arrival and people had talked about how pet friendly the hotel was. So reading that we decided to include our small dog in our Christmas travel plans. On arrival we were informed there policy had changed in May and they were no longer a pet friendly hotel and we would have to make alternate plans for our pet. After much heated discussion with the manager it was decided that if we paid $35 per night for a pet clean up fee she could stay. Bottom line always call and confirm before arrival.
it was a suite, with kitchen, living room, and bed room. Location was pretty good.
"Free drinks" only from 5-7pm. Likely to lure you into staying for dinner. Cannot request late check out until the day you check out! Only gave us an extra 1-2 hours. whirlpool tub, not as exciting as anticipated, very loud. Jets are more like bubbles than actual jets. Breakfast was a nightmare. Same thing everyday. "Made to order" is just waiting in line for a really long time for an omlette. Chef was quite rude. Had to wait to get a seat each morning, and room was packed, packed, packed. You could tell other customers were also not happy. Bad environment. Food was pretty bad. I regret not just going down the street for a nice croissant and coffee somewhere else. Room was not great. Couch is pretty old. TV is old. Have to pay for WIFI!!! are you serious? Could only access for free in lobby. Ridiculous. I was so excited to stay here based on the reviews, but now totally regret it.
I stayed in a king room with my boyfriend and everything was so good. It had a great bathroom, a kitchenette, a living space. They even gave us free drinks and breakfast.
What I didn't like was how wifi wasn't included because it was pricey per night therefore I kinda expected to have included wifi. Along with parking you had to pay for but that's understandable considering its in downtown Montreal and there's limited parking spaces.
suite was excellent
the view , construction going on, not much to see, but the room was amazing...anyways too good we had so much of our foods the night before so we didn't feel much hungry in the morning. but please fix your breakfast serving it was by far the worst .
The room I booked was huge and very comfortable, staff was always friendly and helpful, the gym was open 24/7, and the free breakfast and drinks were appreciated. Being across the street from the conference centre is a major plus with this hotel, especially in the winter. I also managed to extend my stay until the time of my flight.
- there was an issue with the airvent next to my room desk, which blew cold air on my feet, a real issue when working all night at the said desk. I mentionned the issue to the front desk three times and the only solution was an increase in the overall room temperature. - I had booked this hotel to cook myself simple meals, including breakfasts on European time. However there was no ustensils other than a coffee machine and a microwave. (And huge freezer and washing machine.) The hotel could not even provide an electric kettle for tea when I asked. - While I had paid well in advanced, I was charged an extra $0.02 which would have cost me much more in credit card fees! Fortunately, the staff at the desk erased the charge.
poor variety small saloon not enough staff
Fantastic location...close to the metro and a fabulous walk to the centre of Old Montreal. Very good value with breakfast and drinks included. Rooms are spacious with a kitchen and the bathtub was amazing. We will be back for sure!
Only paid WIFI in rooms
Helpful staff, nice room, good value for the cost. Free drinks at evening reception.
No wifi except lobby area.
The layout of the floor plan and the size of the washroom.
Shower is a little small. Fireplace made lots of noise. Had to turn it off
Location is very good, near to public transport and to old town. The breakfast is included and offers a good variety of international and Canadian food. The rooms are large and offer all the necessary.
