Our room had a kitchen....making it easy for us to follow diet restrictions while away from home. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was great.

The location was good. Our stay was disappointing with No availible parking which resulted in a $55.00 ticket to park in a city lot. A room with the constant loud hum of what we assumed was the heating or cooling system and a less than friendly greeting by a staff member who made us feel we were lucky to have a room at all as we had the nerve to try to check in at 2:00pm rather than three as my son's convocation had us scrambling to be able to arrive after our over three hour trip in enough time to change prior to the ceremony. We had little to no sleep and were greeted by a $55.00 ticket upon our departure. Very disappointing and will pass this on to booking, com

The Hotel was central to everything we needed. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The towels were old and rough. The parking, though we were lucky to get underground, was very tight and we thought there should be an in and out ramp as opposed to just one for both. The lobby was a bit tired looking.

Here are several good things about the hotel. First, good location for the purpose of our trip: 10-15 minutes walking to Parliament Hill, Canal. 20 minutes walk from/to Bus station etc. Second, the suite has been equipped very good: all known kitchen appliances (microwave, toaster, coffee-maker, oven...), big LCD TV receiver etc. Third, a lot of places to store clothes, luggage etc. Big not good thing about the hotel is noise from some electrical engine (like conditionair or something like this). But after several hours walking over city we usually fell asleep very quickly. Another negative point is rather poor condition of almost all wooden doors.

There was a lot of space. Very large suite. Surprisingly comfortable beds. Reasonable price. The temperature controls didn't work. Our suite was extremely hot. We opened the windows, and the office staff let us use their fan, but there was construction right next door that went on all night. The rooms are very dated and worn. They really need to renovate, but then I guess the price would not be so reasonable.

The location of this hotel is excellent as in the center of Ottawa. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the 1 bedroom flat clean, comfy and big. The kids loved its space and the free wifi. You have to be lucky to get a parking space. But there is a public parking across the street, although more expensive.

Beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, although on the week-end, there occasionally was not someone manning the desk. It's an ideal location for reaching the main tourist sights and offers some excellent dining/pub options on the quirky end of the Elgin Street. We especially like Mama Teresa Ristorante at nearby 300 Somerset West, and the Fox and Feather Pub and Grill, at 283 Elgin Street. The television sets are very, very dated, and offer poor colour. Although the kitchenette is reasonably well equipped, guests should be aware there will be no can or bottle opener, nor corkscrew (seems that corkscrews keep being stolen by inconsiderate guests). We were also disappointed that the Embassy's small but comfortable bar and restaurant are both closed on the week-ends. When the restaurant had opened on Monday, we found the breakfast offerings very acceptable.

Good localion, right behind the City Hall. Private parking 12 cad if you are by car. Some minutes walking to the main attractions, including the parlament, museum of nature, rideau canal, Bymarket. Free internet. The appartment has a complete kitchen, so you can buy some stuff to prepare your breakfast by yourself if you want.

The suite was very large with a bedroom, den, kitchen, eating area, and 2 full baths. The beds were comfortable. It is located in anice area near a university and in a short drive of both downtown and the principal night life area. secure parking is available for a reasonable price. It has a restaurant and bar. Breakfast was decent. No negatives to report.

Comfortable room, more like a studio apartment than standard hotel room which is good. Staff were not helpful and quite rude. Were unable to provide useful information about parking as their spaces were full and were not interested in helping since it was marathon weekend and very busy (we didn't know it was the marathon before arriving in Ottawa) despite not being busy with other customers. On checkout asked if I just needed to give back door key or to sign and get a bill and staff just grabbed my card and didn't even speak to me. Unprofessional and rude which is a shame as it was OK otherwise.
