Embassy West Hotel  

I found it interesting to be in a hotel that also hosts seniors. I had never seen how seniors lead their daily lives and I liked the interaction at breakfast.

The wooden floor in the rooms was not carpeted and this made me anxious to pull my suitcase on the floor.

It was over 90 degrees in there whit no air conditioning!! It was the worst night ever! I would never stay there again!

First desk staff not professional. We were ready to leave before getting our key. The beds are old and uncomfortable which lead to a very sore back which we both still have. Pillows were HORRIBLE! The rest of the staff was fine and helpful. I would not go back. They really should rethink the bed situation! If the older people from the nursing home stay in those beds, I would be furious if it was my parents staying there. If you don't get a good night sleep, why bother staying in a hotel!

The room was clean. bathroom was large. Liked the fridge and sink.

Lighting in bathroom was poor. Could have used a full length mirror.

The room/suite was not very spacious as we thought , the queen bed was old and not comfortable .It looks as if the room is for a senior disabled person not for young family couple staying for leisure

the bed was old and relaly needed to have the matress replaced, but everything else was 100% I guess once they close it and make it a permanent seniors residence I will have to find another hotel

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. It was very quiet and the beds were super comfortable. Very clean and the shower was a marvelous experience. It was very well equiped, latest comfort.

We had to go out for breakfast.

It would have been nice to know it got turned into an old age home

Vey economical. I really liked the layout of the rooms.

Something within my room caused an allergic reaction with sniffles and sneezing. It went away when I exited the room but returned about an hour after I got back to the room. I am assuming/hoping it was a one time event and will try the Embassy hotel again in the future.

It was right off the highway.

It was a senior's residence as well as a hotel. In the morning, when we went into the dining room for breakfast, there was alot of seniors with their nurses having breakfast and it was a little unpleasant! Unfortunately, it felt like we were having breakfast at a seniors retirement home.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet and secure. The staff were courteous and efficient. The rain shower was nice

Not very many TV channels. Not even a pen to do a puzzle in the room. We had a double bed in a deluxe suite, and I was expecting a queen size bed. Basicly nothing to do in the hotel. No jacuzzi, sauna, or pool. No activities room. Novending machines, not even an ice machine, I had to go inot the kitchen for ice even though you provide an ice bucket. I would stay there again perhaps but now I know what to ask for. The bathrrom could use some hooks for your robe (not provided) and a place to put your toilettrees. The floorlamp was broken, nobody asked how my stay was at check out time. Some light bulbs were burned out. Oh and best of all the bathroom door was new and never painted.

To whom it may concern the hotel is a old folks home and a hotel not a good combination . The front desk staff was non responsive and aloof ..Has for the room it was clean but not very comfortable .The beds were as hard as a rock .We did not sleep well at all .I mentioned this to the front desk at check out .But got no reply at all . For this we paid over $100.00 never again .

The room was spotless and well-appointed with brand-new higher-end finishes. Very nice bathroom! The bed was comfortable, but too small for a "queen" ... pretty well a double bed in my opinion.

I wasn't given a fair discount even though I was sent to the "senior- living" floor (5th floor) after arriving to a "full-house". Despite booking with booking.com, the hotel front desk was "unaware" of my booking and had rented out my room. I was sent to the senior floor and given a room unequipped for travel-guests. There was no soap, no shampoo/conditioner, no hair-dryer, no bedside table, no lamps and almost no toilet paper left. Yet, I was still charged $99.99 (only ten dollars less than the booking.com quoted price) and not offered a suitable discount for my inconvenience. Aside from the girl who began my booking procedure, the staff treated me with suspicion and indifference, with the "room inspection" taking nearly 15minutes during check-out, despite my mention of being in a hurry! Unacceptable!

Terrific! Reasonably priced, spotless facilities and room, friendly & very helpful staff at front desk. Will definitely stay here again!
