We had no power for most of the night on New Years, they tried to fix it, and when they couldn't, they offered no other solutions. 250$ for a room with no power, no refund, and no room with power. Would not return.
Location is pretty close to everything. Good price for this level of hotel comparing to others at this location. Good internet speed.
There was no rubbish bin anywhere. No carpets in the washroom. Not cold enough in the fridge.
Location was close to the Niagra Falls and Observatory Tower.
Everything was alright.
Comfy Bed Working TV Lots of Channels It had a fridge Bathroom was new, nice
Reception .Not very friendly. The Room furniture 50's style The Room was Cold, electric Heat. Bathroom heater did not work. Microwave had a burning smell. Door had No Security Chain.
The room came with 2 seperate rooms, and 2 queen sized bed and it was an okay view of the hotels downtown! Very nice compared to most motels and lovely staff 3/5 stars :)
That weird noises came from the piping when we showered and the shower was outdated but who cares really?
The room was freezing all night
Staff was very rude. Front desk was being taken care of by the children, messages of later check out time were not conveyed. Staff swore at our face for noise when we had just arrived to our room. No mention of key deposit upon booking. Requests that were made online for room were not even acknowledged by the staff when checking in. When checking out we were hasseled regarding obtaining our key deposit. And when we left the foyers staff was speaking ill of us in front of other guests. If you don't care about service and hospitality then go here. Other wise you can find much better! Will not be returning.
Close to the falls and downtown.
The sheets were dirty, the shower ran out of hot water after one short shower and a noise in the walls occurring once a minute all night kept us up so sleep was impossible. It was New Years so there was no where to go. The topper was when I asked for ice: "We do not have ice here in this hotel, but we do have very cold water". Won't be back, sorry.
location and proximity to Victoria St. the Falls and Queen Victoria Park was great. We were there for the New Years Outdoor Concert
The bed was terrible. it was hard and did not have a fitted sheet so we were sleeping on the plastic cover. We used the top sheet but it kept sliding off the plastic mattress cover. We did not have a good night sleep at all!
The place had an amazing curry smell through the whole place was very pleasesant, and the 3 double beds in our room made it easy for our orgi :)
Location was very good. Room and linens were clean.
Room was very cold. Heaters inadequate, the one in the bathroom was broken and the old unit by the window had to run all the time just to keep the room close to room temperature.
The room was so cold and it didn't get any warmer with the heater turned on. I went to bed with my hoodie and socks on. Will never go back there.
The beds were clean and comfortable.
The staff was unorganized and uncomprehensive they didn't understand why we were so mad that out power kept going out all night and we practically all had to sleep in out jackets the room was at 8 degrees we froze! The floors in the room were ice cold. Never again.
I liked the location it was very close to everthing
The inn needs updating it was old and in need of some work
The location was excellent close to all the attractions you would want to see. That's the only thing good about this place.
My girlfriend and I reserved this room for Dec 31 (New Years Eve) honestly, I knew we weren't going to be staying at the four seasons or the Marriott etc.... We weren't expecting much and figured as long as it was clean we'd be happy as we had a few other activities planned anyway... Dinner at the Skylon and the outdoor concert, fireworks etc. Upon checking into our room the first thing we noticed was how cold it was in there. Immediately we turned the thermostat up to just a shade below its highest setting. My girlfriend jumped into the shower to get ready for dinner, I wouldn't say hot to describe the water temp maybe warm but not really even that a shade over cold but certainly not comfortable for a shower. So, she gets out and of course the room is still freezing cold. We call up the maintenance guy, he comes in the room checks a few things and says... You're right, you have no heat... I'll see what I can do but, You should complain to the front desk. By this time we have to go for our dinner reservation so, we go and when we come back still no heat so, I go to the front desk and explain the situation the girl there hands me a space heater to use as there are no more rooms avail. I go plug it in... It starts smoking and now the fire alarm in our room is going off like crazy. My g/f goes back to the front desk.... She's not happy and let's them know it, now the girl from the front desk comes up to try and shut the alarm off, she can't reach it and asks me to try to turn it off, I try but, the alarm won't go off. So here we are standing outside in -17 with our door open at 10pm with the fire alarm going... The girl from the front desk is having a full on heated argument with my irate girlfriend telling us this is not her problem... I had to physically step in between them to restore some sense of order.
too cold in winter. The power will be off if the separate heater is turned on.
Clean room, friendly staff. jacuzzi tub
its not a king bed, its a queen bed. cable TV did not work room was about 5 degrees celcius upon check in, did not warm up to a reasonable temperature for about 6-8 hours after check in. hotel ran out of hot water at peak time, cold shower in morning. luke warm jacuzzi at night. no actual blanket! it had that standard hotel blanket top but not the fleece warm part under. my gf and I froze that night. all in all, NOT worth $249. I would have gladly paid the extra $200 to stay at the marriott and had a nice room with cable that worked, heat that was warm, a jacuzzi with hot water, a shower with hot water in the morning. no coffee maker either. I would not stay here again, the only thing that was good was the location.
Heat hot water no ice machine or coffee machine 20.00 deposit on key no elevator
appropriate for cost
a bit noisy
* Location was good .... Near to most of attractions * Staff was polite and professional
* Heater was not working well * Bathroom was not well equipped * Zakoozi tub was just a show-off. It was not working really. * Hotel premises was not clean at all.
As soon as I open the door I was not impressed at all with the room. For what I seen on there site the room does not match at all. The next step I did was went to turn the bed down the first thing I saw was a long black hair in the sheets . I looked at my hubby & said if I had my way we would leave but I did not want to loose my money I was not a happy at all there was nothing in the room like no facial tissues no extra pillows no coffee maker.
- location - budget friendly - comfortable bed - quiet - left something important behind and they kept it for me
- small tv - shower temperature went up & down (not stable) - not good outside apeal of motel - few hair on bed
The family room was very spacious and the location of this motel is the best
There was no drinking water in the room.
Not much Small fridge with freezer in the room which was a good thing to enable us to make our own ice in the cups we had to request.
No heat when we arrived and office staff unaware how to get the heat working. Eventually got it going by trial and error. No fan, heat, or plug in the bathroom Poorly installed shower with scalding water when toilet flushed. Had to ask for extra pillows No cups in the room and we were expected to pay for ice!! -- Both are basic elsewhere. Cups were very thin and cheap/cracked easily. Another guest complained of cockroaches in the room!! I wouldn't like another stay here!!!
the host are really welcoming and nice. the place is perfectly located, a few minutes by foot from the falls and many restaurants. rooms are comfy and nice. a very good deal considering the price.
can t say really
