LOCATION..STAFF EASY TO TALK WITH..CONVENIENT..REASONABLE PRICE
Not very close but still in walking distance from major sites. Public garage just around the corner. Friendly stuff.
Modest and each day the same breakfast.
Parc milie-Gamelin is a little dicey at night very small and minimal room, but served my needs
Excellent location, clean and quiet rooms, great staff.
Wi-Fi signal is available only on the lobby area.
The officer on the night duty was very kind and friendly during my staying.
The room is not very quite.
The hotel needs to improve on its Wifi facility. It makes it very convenient for travellers like us who need to connect with people and check our emails if there's Wifi.
The staff were great that's about it.
The hotel room was a budget room and it cost the same as a queen size room across the street. Total waste of money.
As the name implies "Hotel Europeanne", the rooms are tiny. This is to be expected, for the price. The staff was helpful and sociable. In a pinch I would stay again. One needs to know what to expect.
beds were comfy, location is great can find some good food nearby and metro subway station is near always a plus had a fridge flatscreen tv
areas little run down, no mesh on window when open it, shower was weak but still doable, no radio :( or music on tv
The proximity to everything and the price.
The size of the room and the lack of a/c
The location in the center of the city A good breakfast for once Good wifi Helpfull staff Close to restaurants and old center
No airco No free parking outside
Very close to Berri UQAM, a key Metro station in Montreal
The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. Great value and location for the price, so would definitely recommend if on a budget.
Lack of thermostat control. Was always either too hot or freezing. The wifi could connect but did not actually work in my room.
Location in downtown. Polite staff
The room in basement and the size
water pressure at 2nd floor wi-fi signal hairs on the "clean" tovels
Very good situated
Noisy , not clean , Poor Internet , Air condition doesn't work , Poor breakfast , 3 tables for breakfast for 32 rooms...
The room smell cigarette smoke The noise
Good value - but when they say maximum one person per room, they mean it. Doors lock at ten, and all guests (one per room max) have to sign in with ID. Charges extra for any additional guests.
Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Wifi did not work in our room.
No air conditioning during one whole day of our stay and although one staff member was very friendly and helpful, others were rude.
Lackof professionalism from staff. Air conditioning not always on when needed.
The Hotel was quiet, and located very well, close to downtown and metro.
Breakfast included in the room rate was very poor, just croissant with coffee or tea, available in a space-limited foyer. My room, facing the backyard, was a bit noisy, because of AC machines (probably). Staff friendliness was 50:50. Wi-fi was a bit slow and broke from time to time.
Good position in the middle of the latin quarter and near the subway station.
There is a vile bleach smell in all the hotel, especially in the room. The room has a dusty and stained carpet; moreover we found some makeup traces on the pillow and when we asked for a replace, the receptionist told us he had no idea where he could find a new pillowcase, so the first night I slept without pillow because I couldn’t use the dirty one. The day after we found the owner at the front desk and asked him for a new pillowcase and he gave us just that and we had to put in the pillow. Another shameful thing was the breakfast: there is a little space at the entrance of the hotel with some tiny tables ( 5 ) where you can have it; there are some muffins, some croissants, orange juice, hot water for the tea and coffee. Really, you have to trust me, I’m pretty sure you can find something else for the same price.
Clean and has fridge, hair dryer and tv, also wifi was good.
Shower was too small :(, the mature guy on the desk was unfriendly.
