Score from 215 reviews Very good
Near the city center. Metro nearby. Room was relatively confortable and included a fridge.
Room was near the reception: the chatting and the TV fin the main area can be annoying at times.
The bath is very small that I couldn't band even slightly. the bed is not comfortable at all and rooms are very tiny. the staff are very bad, aggressive and useless to speak to.
Smell of the room... When you enter the room, you can feel it is properly cleaned. Bed is comfortable.
Dirty glasses, I don't even want to use it. Room is a bit small... If your room is far from the router, the free wifi is technically useless...
Cost is unbelievable. The room is small but all I needed for my stay. Location is best to relax at bars at night and walk back to the hotel.
I itched for a days during and after my stay there. Due to the cost I will probably stay there again. I will just bring a couple bug bombs and set them off in the room the night I arive and halfway through my stay. You can hear everything occuring in the other rooms. I am a sound sleeper so that is okay. A couple nights of the trip I clearly heard the couple next room over having sex. I thought it was funny.
Near to Berri Metro Station....so excellent for using Metro... Rest all was fine unless you are looking for something luxurious.
Slow Wi-Fi and need to add variety in breakfast.
The room was clean and a decent size. Location is amazing. Right downtown.
I didn't actually end up staying at this hotel because even though I booked a room over a month in advance, they didn't have a room for me. They sent me down the street to Hotel Elegant, which I guess they also own. Good thing about that is they only had a queen sized bed available so I got that. The walls are paper thin. Don't expect to get much sleep if you're there on a weekend. There were some really sketchy people staying there.
I liked the nice geographic location, and cool janitors !
But, the room's lamp and the heating stoped to work after one night
perfect location price friendly service
smolder old breakfast is so simple
it's nice location, very accesible to all places we wanted to go and the staff is kind and helpful.
There is no microwave to heat up food nor electric pot to have a warm drink before going to bed.
Wi-fi barely working, small breakfast
free breakfast, microwave in lobby, pop vending machine, my room had window
It's convinient to go to other places.
We are not happy with breakfast.
- Nice continental breakfast. - The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. - High availability of a computer at the front desk.
1) At night the room was very cold - we were very uncomfortable to sleep. 2) The room was not enough lighting.
Consider that I have only a single roomI am content, only TV some channel has bad reception !! Internet was good! Even the continental breakfast was good!! I wi come back again if the price is still the same!! $44 /night who can beat that !!!:))
The view? Lol
Great location, right around the corner from the metro and the bus station, with shops and restaurants everywhere. Hotel was inexpensive, clean, and comfortable.
Bathtub scared me, no rubber mat or safety strips in tub.
location clean washrooms/shower/tub/price friendly enough staff
nice location wifi clean
poor breakfast no spoon no forks no plates
The location of this hotel is excellent.
- The wi-fi in the rooms was very poor - Some of the staff did not have good customer care
Convenient location, walking distance to historical city centre; Wi-Fi was available in my room (on the ground floor); Reasonably clean; Staff willing to help, even though English is poor; Excellent water pressure in the shower
Very thin blanket; Rather small room; No view from the window; these to be expected at this price level. Not a lot of smiles from owners and staff - but may be it is typical for Quebec?
This is a pretty basic hotel but it has everything you need for a short stay on a budget. The facilities are basic but totally adequate and comfortable for a no-frills accommodation experience.
Everything was alright. Not noisy, comfortable and very well-situated. The staff speaks English and they're extremely helpful. If you don't intend to spend much time in your room, this is a good place.
Breakfast was clearly a minus. But honestly, it's Montréal so you can just find a nice cafeteria and that is it.
location and value for money
dark in the room at 18
Near the city centre, coach station and metro Berri-UQAM. Relatively quiet hotel.
location price breakfast croissant
wifi could be a bit faster rooms are small
The hotel was great value for money. The rooms were clean and cleaned well every day. Staff were helpful and nice. We were told to keep the noise down once which was fair as it was after 11pm. Great location for sightseeing and restaurants. So close to the bus station. Would definitely stay here again.
There was a rule to keep noise down after 10 which was annoying but fine, wifi ok.
