Convenient location close to Granville Island and the right side of town for airport. Room was very comfortable. Rate was reasonable. Liked the idea of free wine tasting. View was pretty grim over adjacent building's rubbish. |

The staff was very helpful and we also liked the proximity to Granville Island and the shops. We didn't like how loud the traffic outside was and the mattress wasn't that comfortable |

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were qood size and location was great. I would go back to this hotel again in the future Room was quoted as having 2 queen beds but Hotel staff said that it was a typo. We got 2 double beds in each room. |

Location, wine tasting and friendly staff. Easy to get to from anywhere in the city. Room was small for an eleven day stay. |

This is an attractive, well-maintained, and conveniently located hotel for all visitors to Vancouver. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced and a pleasure to work with. Rooms though snug are well equipped and nicely furnished. Overall, very good value. The hotel is locate on a busy street. My room faced the street and had an appreciable amount of noise intrusion from traffic throughout the night. |

Location was right close to all the action downtown, but quiet enough as well. The rooms were a little small, but all I did was sleep there. so adequate for my needs. |

internet connection was not working in the room, and the wireless access was only in the lobby and it was not included in the room fees; jacuzzi on top floor was cold and dirty. |

loved the convenience to shopping and restaurants. Good bus service and easy to grab taxis. Enjoyed the safety features of the hotel, i.e: need to use your room keys to activate the elevator. Staff was very friendly and accomodating to my needs. My bathroom looked a little run down. |

Due to the size of the rooms, I don't think it is a 4 star hotel, Rooms are extremely small for this category. Most hotels include the use of internet for free, in this one besides the price per room, there was an additional cost for that, unbelievable. |

Confort (really good beds); view (good feel of Vancouver); friendlyness of front desk staff--very knowledgeable of the area; waiter at La Vallee was fantastic and food was good, too; cleanliness (except small details, see below); location (quiet area, yet convenient); rates; restricted access executive floor. Maid service was somewhat uneven. We stayed 7 nights and there were noticeable differences from one day to another. The maid(s) left dirty water in the sink almost every day, and left dirty glasses and cups in the room once. Otherwise the room and hotel were spotless and looked great. Use the double-lock at all times. |

The room we had was very small and the decor was very tired and dated, particularly in the bathroom. |
