Would never stay in this hotel again
Unfortunately lots of renovation was in progress.
kitchen with stove, fridge & kitchenwares
the air-conditioner was a bit noisy, it seemed that as it was installed inside the bedroom, the running sound of it was not fully insulated. Especially in the middle of the nite, it would make u feel like sleeping inside a flying plane.
Continental breakfast was near the main aisle near the west tower elevators. Many people blocking access to elevator.We could not enjoy breakfast so we had leave to a restaurant.
Manager worked out the room problem, by offering a good discount on the different room type. Their parking area was available and easy to access, earlier in the day. 'Accessible room' had been recently renovated, so it was clean and comfortable, with new furniture and carpet. Nothing looked worn! We were across from elevator, but didn't hear noise. 4 of us slept soundly. Just heard a bit of tv noise and faint talk, from room beside;no concern. Location is very good, being near major attractions and Canal. Nearby food places, so brought fast food to the room. Good shower, but no fan to use.
The room type reserved was not available due to it being 'closed' for renos! No other room of that type available even tho' I reserved over a month ahead. Double-checked 4 days ahead too, re. various questions. We got the Wi-fi password from the front desk, but couldn't use 2 smartphones, as they wouldn't connect.
Staff is friendly
No business center for printing, no swimming pool, no noise barrier in the room.

Very central to everything. Could walk to all restaurants, shops and sightseeing spots. Staff were very helpful.

One of the women I think manager with shoulder length blonde hair was very rude to me verbally. THIS WAS MT 2nd stay and worst experience

The rooms are bed bugs infested The Vending Machines do not dispense even after collecting money. Apart from the Lobby, the hotel furniture have been eaten by Bed bugs.
I strongly recommend your website to clearly indicate how many IDs the particular hotel requires. When we reached the hotel the receptionist said the corporate policy in Ottawa's location requires two Government issued ID's, while your website just indicated one. We had much trouble. Only the next day the other receptionist checked us in when we showed another id without a photo, though. Conclusion: the staff itself is confused about the rules.
Smoking room kitchen surrounding many stores food etc
The staff wad very rude two in particular amy and amanda. I was asked to leave the hotel by amy, a frony dest agent if I was not satisfied with thier customer setvice. The first day I arrived at this hotel I ordered food when the food was delievered I noticed no peep hole on the door so I.called to inquire about that feeling a little unsafe. Amy answerd the phone upon explaining to her about my concern she began by saying why am I concerned is there something going on in the room that should not be why I need to see who is at the door and that I checked in yesterday and should she be concerned at that moment I had just checked in 20mins ago. She was very rude and made no apologise for assuming that I am doing something wrong and I had checked in yesterday when I had just checked in. I went downstairs to explain to her that I am a guest in her hotel and if I concerned about my safety she should be as well she continued being rude as if I am the one that owes her safety and not the way around..two days later I was hungup on by amanda after she called. Yelling that I had missed checkout time at 11am it was at the.moment 11:38. she asked how long I.will be staying.when.i said about A.month or so.sh says she needs to.talk to her manager because this is a bit weird. I told her that I donnot need to get into my personal life with her and if I want to stay.a year as long as am paying she should not be concerned..i have been paying daily everyday for the past two weeks at this.hotel I was under the impression it was an extended stay and could be used as a home as the setup is.like an apartment. the female staff except one young lady very young ia.sweet and friendly and can teach them a.thing or two..the manager should not condone the.behaviour of het poorly experienced staff.... WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!! although I am still there I havr made it a point in.duty to.avoid.any interraction.with those staff members..DISGUSTING behaviour

It did run out fast! we were in side by resturant this time and hot water was difficult to find. Stayed other side earlier and there was lots andlots hot water

First they upgraded room to a room we didnt like...Everything was straighten out and Wife and I enjoyed our stay...Staff was excellent...I believe guy name Cody...great Job from Aug 24
The room was filthy as your socks would turn black just after walking for less than 10 minutes in the room! You only get one housing keeping service per week, and even then the maid only replenished the towels. They did not vacuum or make the beds!
