The building itself is very neat. A giant castle hidden in Banff. Huge with amazing staff that are incredibly helpful.
It was very expensive but that was to be expected. It was a once in a lifetime trip for us as this isn't a place that fits our budget but worth it.
Everything + must stay on the 5 th floor. Having the special touch made all the difference. Breakfast was so special, worth getting up late for.
Small baths, understand, this is a historic, special place and we worked with that. No problems ! Would go back in a heart beat!
The view is excellent Valet staff are very courteous and efficient
The room is cluttered bedframe is exposed guest get hurt bumping into the metal corner walking around the bed Mattress can be firmer The one we slept on is sagging can be replaced Need more staff at front end for checking in & out wait is too long
Gorgeous place and lovely area. Great view from the room!
Price! Small room.
The views, the hiking, the restaurants and the amazing setting
Noisy drunkards, obnoxious people on the cell phone at tea with screaming children. Lots of late night hallway noise.
I loved the friendliness of the people and the beauty inside the hotel. Jacqui made our stay incredible!! What an amazing person she is!! Thank you so much!!!!
Our room door was right across the elevator. It is tough to make things sound proof but there was staff talking very loud and laughing at 630am just outside our door...
Very impressive reception area. Huge hotel with shops within it. Good choice of restaurants. Excellent buffet breakfast although not included in room price. We had just got married so we were well looked after by the staff checking us in.
Old style small rooms. In keeping with the age of the hotel but for the price we paid it could be more modern.
The reception we received was incredible, nothing was too much trouble reception had all the time in the world to show us around the facilities, tell us about the area and surest places to visit. The hotel is magnificent, the Canapé buffet laid on free for Gold customers every afternoon, free coffee, tea & cold drinks all day. The room & view were magnificent.
If we had stayed more than one night we would have liked to use the Spa & various therapies however the prices were beyond belief !
Old world charm The view was amazing Tipping included in the price for hotel staff although stayed at to Fairmonts and found this out after we booked in at Banff
A very small room
The hotel was grand
The room had no air conditioning
Architecturally fantastic. Extremely friendly staff.
Not including free WiFi
Nice hotel in nice location but not worth the money spent
Bad value was placed in the conference center the first night. I went on vacation to get away from those hotels I frequent for work so I felt like I was at work. Should have been informed of the change prior to arrival. Deck restaurant had poor service and the food was lukewarm when it arrived. Burger was way overcooked. Pool was emptied and closed on Monday. No doormen which is surprising for a 4 star hotel. Nice enough staff but felt like a number.
Hotel close to everything, easy drive to sightseeing. Staff very knowledgeable on hotel history, places to see and things to do. Staff very friendly.
Fabulous location. Easy to get to town. Lovely views, right next to Bow Falls. Very attentive staff
Parking charge of $25 a day! Charge for the internet. The rooms are expensive enough.
Like their other properties, you can't beat the location. And the historic look and feel of the property is great.
The price is a little suspect. At such a high rate for the room, do you really have to charge for parking? c'mon...
We liked the Gold floor, the after noon Tea .
Every time we stay in Fairmont Banff Spring Hotel it expands our positive experience form previous stays. Excellent place, staff, service… It is a world class accommodation.
was the most expensive room i have ever had and the vwindow was tiny and had the light on the whole time. also parking and internet was additional daily chaqrge. overall bad value
The staff were so positive, cheerful and helpful. The surroundings sumptuous and the facilities excellent. The all day entry to the spa.
The segregation in the spa. The lack of a fresh water pool at the spa.
Personnel excellent Setting Town Scenery
Room decor Little furniture - one chair for deluxe room, no small table Few pictures on wall despite gorgeous outdoor scenery Access to coffee machine in room cumbersome and lack of ligthing in that area made pouring water into Keurig difficult Only one suitcase support fold-out 'bench' for hugh closet and typically double room occupancy
Super location, beautiful hotel, restaurant, concierge and bell boys and room service staff were excellent.
Bar staff and conferences at hotel meant poor service in and lack of seating in bars. Outside bar was very poorly serviced and private/conference guests overdue those of individual guests.
Beautiful hotel-I work in the aviation industry and your hotel has been on my 'bucket-list' for some time. Question 1: mother with adult daughter
The fact you had to pay for wifi/internet use!
The building and huge history
The accessibility of the pool and leisure centre
The condition of this grand old property is truly splendid. Amazing in fact. Staff very good. Excellent food.
No clarity around wifi options. Charging for it is a bit last century. Parking price is a gouge but no different from most 'captive' properties.
