The location , view , decorations for the holidays , the doggie ambassadors , I could go on an on . Staff were wonderful and attentive .
High cost of food and drinks .
Location. View. Amenities. Staff was professional and very helpful.
Got a room right across from the elevators and could hear them all night. Either the walls are thin or the people in the next room were very loud. We heard them on both sides. Hotel offered to move us, but we declined as loud couple was leaving next morning. They were replaced by another loud couple.
Plenty of bedding, warm rooms, luxurious surroundings and facilities
Bathroom a little small
Fabulous French palace with all french etiquette.
- WIFI: $16- + Tax / DAY!!!! I was in a lot of luxury hotel, but nowhere couldn't had to pay for the WIFI! - The cheapest and worst possible quality toilet paper I have ever used (They get it for free?) - Unfortunately, the chefs are not the best! If you'd like to eat the perfect foods then you can go in Restaurant Portofino Bistro!
Clean and close to all tourist area.
Service very slow. especialy waiting for the car 1/2 hour. Charging bar and we didn't take any thing. Up dating decor.
The breakfast buffet. The evening bar menu and staff and atmosphere. The views from the restaurants. The spacious guest room. THe helpful concierge. The doorman.
Staff are all friendly, helpful and courteous.
Service SAM restaurant Staff - excellent at all levels. Location
Pricey room should include wifi
Staying in an amazing castle, the Fairmont properties are always special. Fantastic food & awesome mixologists at the centre bar. Hotel dog was lovely. Room was spacious, clean, well appointed & great value. Pool & spa were good too & of course location is in the picturesque old town. Loved the Chateau & Quebec City.
Gorgeous Hotel in Old Quebec, we will definitely dyay here again.
Small Rooms for a Chateauu
Bed is comfortable, room service food is very good. Starbucks is a nice addition.
Bathroom is small, only one at a time. Spring loaded door is a pain and the other door handle kept coming off. Noisy heating system and construction at 7:15 Saturday morning. First time back since the sale in 2011. The blue ceiling in the lobby doesn't fit the decor and miss the gorgeous SAQ that used to be downstairs. The Christmas decor just wasn't as pretty as years past. We've stayed here several times, sadly this will be the last time.
Location, architecture, quality of service.
An old hotel means working with some things that date back to 1910. One example would be sound transmission between rooms. It's not awful by any means, but one can follow loud conversations (or maybe not so loud) in adjacent rooms. Food prices are expensive ($23 for a hamburger).
Location and lobby Christmas decor.
Room was not ready for check-in time of 4:00 pm Paint was peeling off ceiling (water damage) in room.
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Helpful concierge service Good front desk service Good coffee machine in room Comfortable bed
Renovation noise in restaurant Incredibly small bar for size of hotel Large groups of cruise guests creating congestion Rude staff in bar Lack of comfortable seating in lobby
I stay at the Fairmont properties maybe once or twice a year tops. This was likely the best stay I have ever had at any of the hotels they have! I was put up on their Gold Member Floor which comes with a number of benefits including free evening snacks, breakfast and private concierge, etc. The room was amazing and the staff were exceptional.
I could only stay 1 night! :)
The location is great.
1. Very strong, constant noise - elevator engine? - through the night made it difficult to sleep properly. 2. They lost the keys of my car! It took half a day to get my car back. 3. Some obvious renovation needs. E.g. the elevators.
Europe feel of the hotel. Clean, beautiful, lots of character.
Restaurants were extremely expensive.
Elegant atmosphere, classy lounge and dining areas, location within the city, and the majestic feeling of the historic building. Very effecient booking system between Booking.com and the hotel. Hotel confirmed reservation in aproaching days to arrival.
Wonderfully comfortable beds, great pool, helpful and accommodating staff, and the best breakfast buffet with a memorable view!
wifi is so poor. It deconnected every 20 seconds and wifi sign always missed.
No breakfast No free internet
Everything especially the food and views
Unfortunately their new heating system is a bit noisy in the rooms
Booking site was so helpful
