Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Helpful concierge service Good front desk service Good coffee machine in room Comfortable bed
Renovation noise in restaurant Incredibly small bar for size of hotel Large groups of cruise guests creating congestion Rude staff in bar Lack of comfortable seating in lobby
I stay at the Fairmont properties maybe once or twice a year tops. This was likely the best stay I have ever had at any of the hotels they have! I was put up on their Gold Member Floor which comes with a number of benefits including free evening snacks, breakfast and private concierge, etc. The room was amazing and the staff were exceptional.
I could only stay 1 night! :)
The location is great.
1. Very strong, constant noise - elevator engine? - through the night made it difficult to sleep properly. 2. They lost the keys of my car! It took half a day to get my car back. 3. Some obvious renovation needs. E.g. the elevators.
Europe feel of the hotel. Clean, beautiful, lots of character.
Restaurants were extremely expensive.
Elegant atmosphere, classy lounge and dining areas, location within the city, and the majestic feeling of the historic building. Very effecient booking system between Booking.com and the hotel. Hotel confirmed reservation in aproaching days to arrival.
Wonderfully comfortable beds, great pool, helpful and accommodating staff, and the best breakfast buffet with a memorable view!
wifi is so poor. It deconnected every 20 seconds and wifi sign always missed.
No breakfast No free internet
Everything especially the food and views
Unfortunately their new heating system is a bit noisy in the rooms
Booking site was so helpful
Location was great.
Services were not comparable to other Fairmont we've used. Overall we were disappointed. From the first employee contact at arrival. Unfortunate.
Location, staff, atmosphere.
Arrival/departurer confusion. For price, food in Sam mediocre.
That I couldn't have a longer stay there.
What you expect from a pricey hotel. Only worth the experience if you get a special off season deal.
$8.50 for a bottle of water in your room. Come on...that is day-light robbery.
everything .... have been to Quebec many times but never stayed overnight. To stay at the Chateau, although it was just one night, was a wonderful experience.
Amazing staff that was extremely helpful with our young daughter.
Every need catered to. Bar 1608 drinks were fantastic. All the staff at the Chateau were exceptionally welcoming.
Needs a pharmacy and a third restaurant for quick bites (Starbucks doesn't cut it...)
Staff were extremely helpful and professional. Hotel is beautiful in a stunning location. No negatives from me.
Your location was perfect. Staff was knowledgeable, pleasant and very helpful. I will definitely stay there again.
Friendly staff -- parking attendants, front desk, bellman, and concierge all were pleasant, helpful, and eager to make the stay enjoyable.
Wine bar was a little disappointing, the bar attendant was more interested in chatting up a young girl rather than checking on other customers.
La vue et l emplacement de ce Chateau historique
It needs a small fast food place for people in a hurray. Breakfast is time lost as service slow. Fabulous staff.
everything - especially the bar
definitely did not like the wine list on an I pad - it made the beginning of the meal very traumatic instead of pleasant and relaxing and time taking -finished up asking the waiter for a bottle describing the type of wine we liked
