I have always loved this hotel, the service is impeccable, We received turndown bed service waters, newspapers in the morning and even chocolate pistachio dipped strawberries upon arrival due to it being our anniversary with a lovely card from the hotel manager. Daily food from the portobello restaurant at the hotel is incredible value and the pastries, sandwiches and pizzas are absolutely delicious. They even had london fog tea for my dear friend and the hotel has a great high tea that our good friends couldn't stop raving about! The mallard lounge fireside at night is great too! Live music, dancing and drinks. The fairmont Whistler has always been my top pick in Whistler. A lot of amenities and a dynamic classic hotel!

The rooms need updating as they tend to feel more like an older Sherriton hotel other than a Fairmont. But the bed is wonderful, the amenities and the pool are spectacular! Worth sacrificing with the rooms to enjoy all of the amenities.

Great location, great facilities, knowledgeable front desk staff

Walls seemed to not have good sound barrier, loud and noisy neighboring guests

I liked the pool the spa and weight room and how close it was to the village.

The poorest quility looking room Iv ever seen , looked and felt like I was in a cheap motel , majorly overpriced rooms for the quility and noisy machins running all night . Could hear neighbors through the walls , no real veiw , just big trees but paid for a veiw of the mountains . Payed parking way over priced . Bed unconfertable and springs squick , no water at all in rooms for drinking , I'd never come back or recommend , I'd discourage people from staying here .

My new husband and I wanted a quick getaway after our wedding and the Fairmont Chateau Whistler was better than we could have expected! We felt very relaxed and comfortable and had lovely sleeps each night. We enjoyed ourselves so much we booked an extra day!

Loved the spa, pool, helpful staff, location, and comfort.

Pay parking was too much of a cost that was a add on.

The staff was very helpful, the facilities very nice.

The chairs at the pool were not enough for all the guests that wanted to rest at the pool, the waiters were sometimes slow. I needed to ask them a few times to please come and take our order. But this is maybe because there were very busy. And my husband thought the bed was not very comfortable. I personally liked it. Overwall, a great stay at the Fairmond Chateau Whistler this july!

Close to the village, trails, golf course you can walk everywhere. Weather was amazing. Lots of restaurant options in the village.

Drinks were a little expensive at the restaurants and lounge.

We were at the Fairmont for a one night trip for my 25th birthday and had two rooms booked. We checked in early at 10 am and they were still able to get us two rooms that were relatively close to each other. We went ziplining and came back to a bottle of champagne and cake, it was a wonderful surprise. The rooms were nice and the pool was beautiful!

It is located in the upper village which the blackcomb area so its about a 10-15 min walk into the whistler village. The weather was great so it was okay

    the room, lounge,

The pool is too small for such a big hotel (5 stars). It is unfortunate that you do not provide at least a continental breakfast. the parking is too expensive.

The whole experience was great, from the valet parking, to the front desk staff, to the bartenders!

The late check-in time - the room wasn't ready until 4:00 pm! Should be 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm latest!

The hotel is first class and in a great location in the Upper Village, only a five minute walk to the Village. My room was spacious and very comfortable, loved the bed and pillows. Amenities were all excellent.

I think the breakfast was expensive.

The hotel crew (from the Front Desk to the restauarants to Housekeeping) was amazing throughout our stay, and went beyond what hotel staff would normally do to make sure that we had an enjoyable stay.

We arrived late, and were initially given a room that was below the Chateau's usual standards of excellance. Rushdy, the hotel manager rectified the situation immediately, and we were impressed by the efforts of him and Chris, the director of housekeeping.
