Great breakfast, kind staff, nice view (looked out on the CN tower), good beds.
Nothing really - though you should ask for a renovated room. There are a few 'older' rooms which are not particularly comfortable.
Great location, helpful staff, food quality very good
Outside construction on street and subway made access to main door impossible Wifi access no longer free in lobby; access expensive and seemed of poor quality for anything other than e-mail despite $16/day; $25 a day for premium access seems excessive.
The location and the confort
Nothing in particular except the road work in front of the hotel
Location Restaurant food Staff friendly and helpful
That they charge $15 per day for wifi access which is pure profiteering Room was a bit small
Bed and employees - superb
Room a bit small - but comfortable
Location Newly renovated rooms
Rooms are kinda small
The location is good. Loved the lobby and the restaurants. Friendly staff. Thanks a lot to Paul at the concierge who helped us to rent a car. All downtown cars were rented out but Paul found us one and saved us the trouble.
There is a construction in front of the hotel until end of 2015. Main door is closed and we need to use side doors. Rooms and windows are small. Rooms are not bright enough.
A great place in down town. Everything is in walking distance, shops, restaurants and entertainment as well as public transports. Great rooms in classic style with modern equipment and all first class services.
The fairmount service and cleaning staff was friendly, courteous and was a friendly smile and hello. Your staff was excellent
Construction and the cab drive took me to the wrong terminal at the airport.
Trains nearby. Attached to small mall. Plenty of cheaper eats nearby. Shops on location to by bits and bobs like juice, sweets and papers.
Everything was wonderful, but we both found all staff genuinely happy and friendly. You felt they really wanted you to enjoy your stay.
The only thing, which in our opinion detracted from the location, was the construction!!! It made it difficult to get your bearings as to just where we were in relation to an entrance/exit.
Lovely old classy hotel with great service and facilities. Staff refunded some of our bill to compensate for inconvenience.
Initially allocated a room next to lifts - v. Noisy but then moved us to a much smaller room. We didn't see the amount of construction work called out on booking.com it's apparently on the hotel site. We would not have booked if we had known.
The Bellman recognition of my vision impaired husband sight limitations and his prompt offer to further assisted us, not only with walking our luggage across the road the road to Grand Union Station but taking us to the Via Rail check point and requesting them continue the assistance service. A wonderful farewell service.
The confused billing process by our waiter in the Epic restaurant. .
Internet not even close to free. It is $24.00 a day plus taxes. In today's world that is a reprehensible abuse of guests. I will not return for this reason and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
I was unable to extend my checkout time.
Staff, quality and presentation of food and the atmosphere, all exceeded our expectations.
That I had only stayed one night.
Very convenient for station Wonderful room service breakfast
I liked everything about the stay.
Construction, construction and construction.
Beds were very comfortable. Library Bar is pleasant. Staff excellent. Attractive lobby. Right on the subway line.
Noisy room - sound travels through door. Window was covered due to outside brick work. Closet space good but only one drawer for other clothes - had to live out of suitcases for three days.
Staff were outstanding
Hot water took over 12 minutes to reach the 8th floor, there was construction work being carried directly below my room for an entre day after a 29 hour flight from Australia. I will never stay at your facility again.
Inside the hotel was beautiful. We enjoyed the pool area and the bar at night.
We did not like all the construction going on outside, otherwise this Is a great location. Also there was some work being done in some of the rooms and there was noise at times during the day.
Bed/pillows great TV and channels newspaper in the morning excellent in-room coffee and bar fridge large clean bathroom
That was a nice hotel especialy in 12 flour every things are perfect and the staffs were nice too.
It was alitle expencive, there was noisy because of renovation and also we had to pay for parking every night and it wasn't fair.
Comfortable and charming
The temp control in the room did not allow a solid night of sleep.
