That was a nice hotel especialy in 12 flour every things are perfect and the staffs were nice too.
It was alitle expencive, there was noisy because of renovation and also we had to pay for parking every night and it wasn't fair.
Comfortable and charming
The temp control in the room did not allow a solid night of sleep.
The Fairmont Royal York is a hotel of generous proportions and traditional comfort. The bedrooms are roomy and well appointed. The gym and pool are excellent. All staff are friendly and the hotel is close to attractions, restaurants, railway and shopping.
Bar in lobby area was excellent.
Air conditioning a little funky, either too warm or too cold.

The location, the breakfast!
The rattling air conditioner, the smell, the blood spot on the sheets, the change of rooms kids slept on pull out couch where we had two double beds! Disappointed!
I love the history of the building. Archetecture is beautiful.
Staff and service was excellent
The business king room included the 12th floor lounge. Excellent experience and we wshall return
I liked the location, the exterior architecture, main lobby, pool.
Small rooms, bad mattress and being by the elevators.
WE really enjoyed our stay.We had spent part of our honeymoon here 50 years ago. We enjoyed great food and great hospitality. There were no disappointments what-so-ever.Our expectations were met and surpassed!
Personal preference bed was a bit hard
the staff were very accommodating
construction surrounding area making it difficult to access
Staff was very good and friendly. Enjoyed the Epic restaurant and Library bar very much.
Bathroom set up is lousy. Can't stand near the sink if the door is open.
Close to the VIA Rail train station
Construction on Front Street
Excellent service,friendly and helpfull stuff.
No free wi-fi for visitors.
very comfortable bed, nice tidy room, clean bathroom. great location.
our window was covered due to construction so we had no view. felt a little like a dungeon. room was small and everything is a surcharge. no fridge, microwave, wifi, and they even told us not to touch anything in the mini bar area because if moved, the sensors on them indicate that it's been taken and you can be charged for leaving something out of place. that seems a little low...
I have stayed at Royal York many many times since the 80's. It has always been my favorite hotel, anywhere. The classic luxury, elegance, and service are second to none. You could breathe in the history and tradition while enjoying the quiet elegance of the comfortable rooms.
I did not like the new room decor at all. I find it way too modern for the age and tradition of the hotel. It was a huge disappointment and an extreme change. I wouldn't want to stay in that room again because of it, which truly breaks my heart. I also did not like that the tub was gone. Showers are great but the tub helped after a hard day on your feet when you don't want to go to the gym/pool, just want to soak..
The bed, blankets and pillows were the best I've slept on in a very long time. Awesome! 12pm checkout time is awesome! The in room breakfast was outstanding
