Gave us a focal point from which to explore our remembrances with ease.
Though updated the basics of the room were dated for the price paid. I had a sluggish shower drain. My sister & her step daughter faired better.
Location is great and staff are exceedingly helpful.
Room rate, and service rates are too high for the value offered.
The location between everything in Montreal. the cleanness of the room.
The room were quite small We were there for our honeymoon anniversary normally it comes with a congratulation note or chocolate or something.
Friendly staff, good breakfast.
When we phoned the hotel prior to our arrival, they had no knowledge of our booking. I would like to know what went wrong.
The parking was a bit of a hassle to access and exit.
Comfortable beds. Very clean room.
Rooms not very well soundprooof.
the rooms were smaller than expected.
Hotel is located right in downtown, with direct access to the underground city. Room was excellent and crew really friendly and helpful
Having to pay for wired internet or WiFi is so inappropriate. Very expensive rates per day. Considering the price you pay for the room I would expect that internet access is included. Is like if they made you pay for using hot water. We are on the XXI centure, internet connection is not a luxury, but a basic need
Great downtown location. Helpful Staff. Good Bed.
1 of 3 rooms our family occupied was old and in bad condition. 2 renovated rooms well below standard of other Fairmont properties i.e. Royal York - Toronto
Unbelievably comfortable bed! Great fitness centre.
Room was a bit small and a continental breakfast would have been nice for the price of the room.
Hotel location Nice beds Cleanliness
Rude staff (four different, non-related interactions) Small room Vacuuming the hallway early in the morning (even with Don't disturb sign out). Did not deliver morning paper (as they said they would) Sensors on items in bar fridge (you move it - you've bought it)
Attached to central station, walking distance to Old Montreal and Port as well as St Catherine's

downtown and centrally located comfortable and quiet room
I could open my window !
Lots of people, very crowded
Lost reservation, billing issues, inability to cancel. 10 days prior to this trip I needed to cancel the reservation. It was easy to do so, but there was a $231 cancellation fee. Upon learning of the fee the reservation was re-instated. Upon arrival I was told the room had been canceled and never re-booked. A manager needed to get involved to figure out there had been a "lack of communinication between the sales staff and booking department." The reservation was "found" after I produced an email showing the re-booking. After I checked out, the card I had put on file was billed for $343.46 after I had already pre-paid for the room. The original charge was for $254. After calling customer service I was informed that I had been mistakenly billed for an additional nights stay. I do not know why there was such a difference in the two charges. They reversed the $343 charge and I thought that would be the end of it.... the next day my card was charged for another $253. I am still trying to get the latest charge reveresed and have not heard anything back from the Queen Elizabeth. The entire ordeal has been very frustrating.
The only thing I liked is the location... And I love Montreal and have stayed at other hotels over a dozen times.
Parking - 33$ a day is crazy!!!! I don't know any other hotel were it's this price, we parked at the Eaton center and paid $34 for 3 days and it was less then a 10 min walk. Wifi - 15$ a day, is crazy it should be free with every hotel it's just standard now! There were also little things that didn't impact us too much but worth mentioning. Our check in took over 20 mins while we wait in a line with 4 people checking people in, I was given 2 cards one stopped working on the second day and everytime I would go try and get a replacement the line to do so was also the check in line ... NOT WAITING a second time. I wanted to warm up my dinner and asked for a microwave, they brought one on a trolly and it was massive and a little old lady brought it up there was no where in the room to put it and thank god my boyfriend was there or I don't know how I would of moved it in the room. All in all I would never go to this hotel again! Just not worth the price!
rooms-Impeccable food-over the top ..wonderful staff-Amazing EXPECTATIONS WERE EXCEEDED IN EVERY WAY !!!!!!!
Rooms pleasant, location good, breakfast buffet excellent
Check in very slow, not good after a long journey. The hotel was expensive so paying extra for wifi was irritating. Films in room were expensive: we fell asleep half way through due to jet lag and would have had too pay again to finish it the next morning. Pool small for the size of the hotel
rooms were clean good staff especially the chamber maids and restaurant staff
The staff and service at this hotel was exceptional.
