The location and staff were excellent. The hotel is above the train station and there is an underground tunnel to the subway (Metro) so getting to the hotel and going places in Montreal is easy.

The rates were increased significantly due to the Montreal Grand Prix (F1) event. The rooms are smaller than I expected. The bathroom is very small.

I liked the central location. The rooms were attractive. It was important to us to have an indoor pool on-site. The staff person who greeted us was very pleasant and welcoming and the concierge was helpful.

Let's start with the cost of the food. It cost us $25 CDN for two bowls of soup on our 1st night there. We did not patronize the restaurants thereafter. We didn't eat any of the snacks in the room either. A bottle of Evian water was priced at $8. I mean, are you kidding? This is definitely not family friendly! Secondly, the pool was unclean. It appeared to me as if there was quite a lot of skin floating around in the water - quite gross frankly! It was also quite small. Finally, a group of men congregated in a room down the hall from us on the last night of our stay. They were drinking beer talking loudly, and slamming doors about every five minutes until 1am. They started up again at 6:20am. I called the front desk and though they offered to send security up nothing changed. I was very unhappy about the college dorm room atmosphere after paying such a high price for the room! I would not stay there again.

All the people that worked at hotel were very nice and accommodating. The room was clean. We loved the indoor pool.

The amenities were great. I liked the fact that there was a spa, sauna, hot tub and pool to use. I also thought the location of the hotel was great, with the shops and train right beneath us.

The breakfast was pricy and the price was deceiving. $ 37.00 for croissants?The room we had was a little small.

Keep in contact with hotel. I asked for double beds on booking.com. When I got to the hotel, they told me I had booked a queen bed and there were no longer any double beds available.

I love traveling at all fairmont a. They are always the best located and they are very professional and treat you with class. I love feeling special and like I'm well taken care of.

I wish the rooms were a bit bigger. And the bathrooms are small.

I was very impressed by the staff especially when we had to leave because my husband was sick. I think the person at the desk (Begund was his name I think) when I came down at 7:00 to say we would have to leave earlier than anticipated by one day, he arranged our bill immediately and arranged himself to come and get our luggage and take it right down to the Via station. Also the conciegre girl who on our first night there arranged a reservation for a restaurant and sent to our room other information for attractions. She was very pleasant and cheerful. I am sorry I did not get her name.

I was disappointed by the little things: worn carpet in the lobby common area near check out, worn carpet in the hall of our floor, chipped bath tub in our room, lack of dusting and some cobwebs in our room. Doors that were scuffed and dinged...

Reception desk friendly and informative and helpful. Room was extremely clean and spacious. Very comfortable and lux. Convenient to rail station, elevator from lobby to station below. Also, the underground mall was very convenient. Dinning was upscale and wonderful Will stay again and again.

Parking was not available and had to park off site. When leaving no one helped us with our bags.

Staff was really wonderful. We paid a little more for Gold level stay and it was well worth it. Everyone on the 19th floor was truly helpful.
