Shower did not work
Everything was awesome. We loved the comfort, history and helpfulness of the hotel. Best of all, we were in the middle of everything. We could choose to walk or use the attached underground city to get around. I can't overstate how nice everyone that works there is and how helpful the concierge was.
The whole hotel and the staff were great!
Ambiance. Location. History.
It's great location:)
Lack of complimentary breakfast:(
The Fairmont Gold Concierge at night was extremely helpful and made us so welcome! He went above and beyond to accomodate our requests and to make our stay spectacular. The services like the fitness center, room service, wake up call, and concierge are very professional and useful.
The check in receptionist (the one that I got) was extremly rude and petty. Instead of checking me in regardless of having an error in my name, she made it a point to mention it and argue back and forth about it. I was tired and really just wanted to check in, instead of receiving a poor attitude and lack of attention to the matter at hand. When I asked to speak to the manager (who was standing right next to her), he decided to take her side instead of just ending the situation and perhaps even taking over? The person who was also checking customers in next to her was very friendly. I lost my wallet on my way there and he checked the hours of the bank and directed us immediately. The heater and fan in our room didn't work at all. The concierge in the morning was rude and told us to get out of our bathrobes before dining so we ended getting having room service instead. How disappointing that for $100 more we could have stayed at the Ritz Carlton for a much more pleasant experience.
Small but comfy room with great view of the cathedral
terrible room service food
Pretty much everything. Location was perfect.
No free wifi.
WiFi wasn't includwd, was charged for making local telephone calls from the room.
Travelling by train from Kingston, Ontario to Halifax, Nova Scotia, a one-night stopover at Montreal was possible without ever going outside into the wintry weather.
Easy to get lost in the underground approaches to the hotel if unfamiliar with the layout, few obvious signs to the hotel. Restaurants very expensive.
gym, staff, location
small rooms and bathrooms, needs updating
Checkin was poor took 25 minutes to find 2 rooms on the same floor supervisor Marie Blais was rude " told me I NOT the only guest for the Day next time Sheraton or Marriot
Great bed and good location if traveling by train
Having to pay for wi fi is unacceptable
location, beds, courteous staff, link to the Indoor City malls
Very comfy bed. Very convenient for access to train station and 'underground city' shopping.
Free complimentary wifi for members. Close to downtown Montreal with separate entrance from train station. Great food & very helpful & professional staff.
No complimentary gym facilities. Bathtub in single rooms are quite small.
Centrally located next to my convention centre The Queen Elizabeth's level of service surpassed all expectations. I've never been treated better.
Overall, great place to stay.
Hearing controls did not work well. Room was very hot in winter
The room and amenities were fine. Very comfortable. Were there time, we'd have used the pool. Staff were uniformly approachable and very helpful.
The fact that one had to pay $30 for WiFi was outrageous. Offering the service cannot cost the QE anything like that price. We felt that this feature was simply an outrageous means to raise cash from guests.
Concierge, desk staff, valet and cleaning staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous. Free in room Keurig coffee & tea View of Marie Reine du Monde Cathedral next door. Nice amenity kit Great location
I didn't like that we had to pay and extra $33 per night for parking! The restaurants were way overpriced.
I like the staff, they treated us very good. They gave advice to upgrade our room to a gold package with a good discount to avail free internet and free breakfast included in the package and an upgrade to the top floor. Staff was super friendly and vallet parking was good.
Parking was $35 for a day which is still acceptable in core downtown area. This is the case in most of the downtown hotels. Internet is $15 or something but if you upgrade your package you are covered for free internet+breakfast+appetizers.
Location. Older style hotel. Very pleasant doorman and porter.
The cost of $15/day for WiFi in the rooms. Outrageous cost of item in the minibar and movies. $8.50 for a bottle of water!
I loved the room, the staff, the facilities and the location! The location was central to metro and all of the attractions. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. I would go back there.
Outstanding customer service - from check-in to check-out, from the concierge, receptionist, housekeeping, room service.
