Pool and hot tubs were amazing, location couldn't be better
Mandatory expensive valet parking, WiFi is very expensive, some staff were rude
First time to Tremblant and we really enjoyed it! Great location and close to everything. Easy ski in/ski out. Great staff and the ski valet was easy! Great pools and hot tubs slope side!
Everything was just great!
Bedroom was tiny, low ceilings, no windows, constant water dripping from outside of bedroom. 3 stars max;( Very poor quality therapeutic massage:( 2 stars max. Very poor quality. Not going back! Internet pricing and at hotel pricing was 200$ more expensive at hotel reception:(
Extremely comfy bed Nice room and great view over the village and slopes The hotel has a pet dog in reception - you can even take him for a walk sometimes!!
Loved the hot tub and the spa ,had one of the best massages ever.food was nice too.
The patrons were really loud in the resto and in the hot tub. A little over the top. Of course difficult for the management to control !!!
My husband and I booked at Fairmont Tremblant for one night October 12th, We were very pleased with all the activities and ambiance in the village. Excellent service, staff very helpfull and always smiling!
I was surprised that this high end hotel only provided free WiFi in public areas of the hotel and the charge to have it in the room was very expensive. Most hotels now include WiFi....
quality and fun
The food especially. You can taste the signature of the chef. I loved the pool, jacuzzi, sauna. It is a great combo for a perfect relaxing weekend.
the only thing I did not like is that the wooden fireplace was not lit yet but that is not the hotel`s fault but the weather. I will return later on to enjoy that too.
No free internet in rooms!!!
Very helpful staff, variety of things to do.
Breakfast not as good as other Fairmont hotels in the area.
Indoor/ outdoor pool Clean room/hotel Location
Rooms were no more inviting than lesser hotels like the Marriott. Decor was outdated and a little common. Perks of staying at the Fairmount were absent - could have stayed at any other hotel in the vicinity, paid less and got the same experience. Was a little disappointed in the overall sense of staying at a 5 star hotel. Was not worth the extra money on any front.
Beautiful hotel with great public areas. Good food, good staff , great location. Quick and easy check in, facilities on each floor for laundry ( very handy). Nice pool area.
A bit impersonal as a very busy weekend ... World championship ironman70.3
Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful
Room not sound proof.
The staff were excellent
1. The fees, fees, fees.... 2. Considering the charges in the dining room, we got better value for our money elsewhere in the Tremblant village.
100% for staff
...through your hotel policy, how can you have a non-refrigerating mini-bar provided in your room and than offer a refigerating one for... EXTRA charge???? I consider this a straight forward insult at this present times when even the worst Cuba hotel offers one for NO CHARGE of course!!!
Location was excellent, the staff were very helpful and the view room was really nice and had a lot of privacy.
The bathtub was outdated and the shower head fixture was broken. The hair dryer was outdated (come on were in 2014!) and didn't have a nozzle at the tip which made drying hair very difficult. Most importantly, check-in started at 4pm, and check out was at 12 pm the next day. We arrived at the hotel at 12 and had to just wait and walk around until the room was ready. I think earlier check-in times would've been better.
Pricing for Windigo Restaurant is a bit on the high side, as is the daily fee for parking.
Hotel is nice and clean, what you would expect from a Fairmont. Staff was pleasant. No "wow!" factor, the hotel just met expectations, which is a good thing.
I booked via one of these search "for the best deal" websites (Booking.com). It said free WiFi. At the hotel I was told that it meant in common areas (I disagree), and in any event it (the hotel) does not know what the deals are when booking through these sites. Wow! I don't know how these deals work between these websites and hotels, but what I know is that it should be transparent to me. If the website used to book a room includes an offer such as free wifi, it should be honoured by the hotel. (by the way the free wifi in common areas is not that good). In the end, got free wifi, not because of the booking, but as a club member. Also, on its official web site, Tremblant announces free Gondola to the top of the mountain when you stay on site, with participant hotels/condos. However, I could not find a list of these participating hotels on its site... surely a hotel the size of the Fairmont would be part of this deal... it does not. The rationale I was given is that The Fairmont is its own entity and is not owned by Intrawest (I understood then that participants meant Intrawest hotels). I understand, but as a customer, I don't care who owns who, and should not have to research (without success) who the deal applies to. Based on the language of Tremblant's web site, The Fairmont is on site and should have been part of the deal. Between Tremblant and Fairmont, fix this. Either Tremblant makes it clear which hotels the deal applies to, or for Fairmont to figure a way to participate. I can assure you I was not the first person to ask The Fairmont about this deal, because the response was instant. As a result, for the same amount, I could have had a better deal with Intrawest hotels.
-noisy hallways in the morning with the cleaning staff making excessive noise -inconsistent info. Front desk said that the Buffett was open til 2, while restaurant staff indicated that the Buffett was till 1230. -overall the experience was ok, room for improvement indeed
