Great waterfront with free parking and plenty for kids.
Great waterfront with free parking and plenty for kids. A lot of great places to eat for different budgets. We ate at Theo’s, Fionn McCools and Thai Plate.
You will need a vehicle to get around.
Just don’t stay at the Stone Gate Inn.

Simple, clean, everything you need!
Simple, clean, everything you need! Fridge and microwave and a balcony over looking the lake are a plus. Nothing fancy but the owners are super nice and it's very reasonable.
Tim Horton's is just down the street and there is lots to do in Orillia or just sit back with a drink on the balcony overlooking the scenery!

Orillia is a perfect get-away spot.
Orillia is a perfect get-away spot. Casino is handy, boat tour on Lake Couchiching worth taking, boutiques for shopping, Low Carb #1 on Rama Rd. great selection for diet conscious people, and a variety of terrific eating places. Fair priced accommodations throughout the city and I highly recommend Lakeside Inn on Creighton.

Orillia is a lovely city , historic with the Stephen Leacock Museum , right on the waters of Lake Simcoe and Couchiching , good shopping and many restaurants. Easy driving from Toronto and GTA. Also very close to Casino Rama for those who wish to gamble and also they have great entertainment. We saw Chris DeBurgh the night we stayed.

Only disappointing thing was that at check in, I was told they keep complimentary cookies in lobby after check in times. I was so looking forward to it. Checked every hour from check in till 8pm and there was not any brought out. When I asked night time desk guy. Chinese guy, Alex I think or Eric something like that. He was not friendly. Said the cookies were frozen in the back. I requested one or two for my husband and I but he refused to get us one. Got the impression that he was just not wanting to make an effort or do anything on his night shift but sit in the back room. Was sadly disappointed.
I loved the pool. The water was warm and the pool was large. The staff was super nice and kind. And the room was spacious. The tv is quite large and I enjoyed watching Netflix. Internet was good. Bed was comfortable. Location is good right beside Tim Hortons and shoppers drug mart. And they have an arcade attached to the hotel. I’d recommend this place.
This was our first time to days inn , Orillia and we totally enjoyed our stay and time there. The staff were very courteous, and to mention Rose, went an extra mile to make sure our experience was very good and provided excellent customer service. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who is planning to visit Orillia and Gravenhurst.
Nothing - the only one thing that was positive about this hotel was that the Receptionist did not charge me the two nights I booked at this hotel - I was not charged at all and I was able to leave right away - this hotel should not be on booking.com it is not a hotel for families or for anyone visiting Orillia
The room provided a comfortable and tidy setting, with all appliances in excellent working order. There was a wide selection of breakfast options available. Additionally, the parking lot was conveniently situated, offering a pleasant view from the hotel window.
Great hotel
Rooms were clean
Bed comfortable
Nice little kitchenette with our room
Staff friendly
Continental breakfast included
Pool was clean and warm
Air conditioning wasn't working properly due to storm that past through
Would stay again
Regardless
It’s conveniently located in the northern central area of Ontario perfect for a base camp while touring through the various towns and villages by motorcycle. Philip the owner there’s a very friendly fellow who makes you feel very welcome.
we stayed here on our way in to Southern Ontario and there was no question that we would stay on the back. Great views, right across from a lovely little beach and great sunsets! The bed was super comfortable. Owners are a delight!
Bananas, yogurt, juice and coffee is not a breakfast. I booked this hotel because it said they offered breakfast so I was willing to pay a little more to get breakfast. Ended up eating a wonderful breakfast down the street
It’s a hidden gem, you can’t really notice it’s a hotel by just driving by.
They have undergone some renovations, and putting in an elevator.
The staff is so amazing, polite, I will definitely come back and stay.
This hotel is basic, but definitely not bad. We had a lovely view of the lake from our room, which we really liked. The check-in staff were friendly and the room were a good size.
We were attending an event really close by. The location and the price compared to other accommodations in Orillia were the deciding factors to stay there.
