We loved the location and how quiet the hotel was. My kids loved playing in the pool and watching the people come down the zip line.
There was not one staff on site. We actually had to go to a different place to get our room keys, and we had never been told that.
Accommodations and mountain views were amazing!
The location on the hill, the pool and hot tub were great, easy load and unloading of the vehicle, condo as describe on line. Comfortable.
Challenges not have staff available to obtain keys, location not available on Garmin, NOT having any matches or a lighter to start the BBQ esp. since the ad specifically states BBQ's are available on deck. After a long drive, picking up groceries in town and then finding out we had to cook our BBQ in the oven. Not happy at all. And who wants to drive back to town for a lighter after driving for over 12 hours. Needing a smart phone to access what is available (vs. binder) and finally finding someone to ask (day 3) where the laundry facilities were.
The location and space were great. The space was nicely designed and great for a family. Staff were accommodating when you could get them.
There was never anyone available, except by phone. The sheets were beyond their life as was the furniture and the building is getting tired and in need of a facelift.
Liked the ski in ski out location. The suite was very nice and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful
Staff were lovely Room was spacious Excellent view Slope side Excellent location, couldn't be any better Rooms were clean
Suite and public areas was a bit dated, could do with some modernisation There was no bar/cafe
Location was amazing. Hallways were nice and cool for when your geared up. Good layout.
Wished the hotpools were open longer. Fireplace didnt work. Bed was hard.
Very friendly atmosphere, Perfect location, Nice clean rooms, Close to the lifts and restaurants. Underground parking was great, Hot tubs were awesome.
The only thing that could be improved is the beds, they are a bit uncomfortable.
Great location. Ski in ski out Staff were really nice, helpful.
Noisy, with a room on the mountain side because of grooming starting early and also pool and hot tub users. Beds are too soft. Bathroom could have a bit of refurbishment.
Loved the staff. Wonderful people, kind and friendly and helpful. The gentleman taking care of the hot tub was a sweetheart. Room/suite was very clean and tidy. The guys who fitted me and the kids with boots and skis were just wonderful people (Quest rental in the lodge). It is of utmost importance to me that people treat my kids with courtesy, kindness, and respect...just the same as they treat me. If you are annoyed by my children or pretend they don't exist, we don't come back. These people were just lovely with the kids. Fantastic place. Liked the location too. We will come back.
Need more coffee for our room! lol! Oh, and underground parking was terrible. Hope you are driving a little car.
The location is great if you have young children. Easy ski access to the hill.
This was a great place to stay with kids. It is basically having your own apartment at the hill. My recommendation if you are going with young kids is to use the daycare/school services instead of the ski school. they have a program called Ski and Play - where your child is occupied from 9 am to 4 pm each day. They provide rentals and lift passes in their price and the kids end up skiing one hour at a time - 4 times in a day - so 4 hours of ski instruction (one instructor per 3 kids I believe) and 4 hours of playtime with the other kids. After you consider the price of rentals, lift passes and instruction, there really is no better value on the hill that I found. This is without mentioning that the staff are excellent, friendly and my kids fell in love with every one of them. Mike
Location and quality
Over priced for early season. Minimal restaurants open. More expensive accomodation than whistler
Location View Beautiful lobby with a lot of sofas and a fireplace, where we could spend the rest of the day after check out.
Pool was closed when we arrived and I promised my son there was one...
The hot tub/pool area was supposed to be open until 10pm but at 9:30 we went down for a hot tub and everything was locked. Not cool.
Good Location Good Staff Nice and clean Suite had all that we needed to have a good stay Towels being provided was a great addition Pool and hot tubs were great
Reception desk was closed so had to go and find new check in, which wasn't sign-posted well at al The gym equipment was old and some didn't work There were portions of different paint in spots around the suite which made it feel dingy It was very hot to sleep, would be great to have an air conditioner in suite A bit expensive for what it was, and it was on a deal
Well informed, friendly and professional staff! We arrived several hours later than expected due to highway traffic and accidents and they made the process so smooth and stress free. I loved the Fernie Alpine Village which was just a two minute walk from Snow Creek Lodge. The Timberline chairlift ride up to hike the mountain was awesome as well! Great for downhill bikers too :) The pool and hot tubs were great and the access to the BBQs on the deck were a bonus as well!
There wasn't a daily tidy/clean up of the room, which would have been nice, but simply a "first-world problem". (Thank goodness I went with relatively tidy people)
no internet access, fridge not worked
- was given wrong info from bookings . com - location to register was not clearly explained, or marked - staff at timberlodge were rude and impatient. - room was cramped, bed was not first rate. - i realize its is off season, however no lodge staff present was not overall pleasing
The location was beautiful but... No AC and it was super hot out. Nice walking areas.
Fridge didn't work and all our food spoiled. No AC. Summer rates a too high as there is no one on site, you have to drive to get to front desk it wait forever for help when needed.
Being on the hill was so quiet for the summer time. The 2 bedroom design was good for a family with 6. Liked the corner unit deck. Pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all.
Fridge could have been a bit bigger, as we took all of our own food to dine in the condo.
