Room Rooftop pool and jacuzzi
Very expensive breakfast with limited choice. Paying for parking
very nice and helpful staff and the rooms have Keurigs!
that parking was not included. seems odd for a hotel to not have parking.
Enjoyed the pool area, excellent restaurant, close to shopping and a casino next door.
staff were friendly and it was clean. If you didn't have your room cleaned they would donate to a charity $5.00 but you had to phone to advise.
Didn't like paying for a parking spot at a hotel I was staying at... it should be included. Our bathroom door would close but would not click or lock shut. Not enough coffee, cream or sugar left for the amount of adults in the room. Doors do not seal completely so we clearly heard our neighbors early in the morning which woke us up when we were trying to sleep in. We felt a bad spirit in the room as we all had bad dreams. The front desk did not acknowledge there is nor did she deny when asked. We came home and googled it and found out it was noted in the room above us that had been documented with activities.
Location, breakfast, cleanliness
Pre-paid for parking, yet parking garage was full and we had to park the car in the public parking lot. The club level room was misrepresented on Booking.com - it was very, very small. The building had building had been renovated but rooms remain tired.
Booking this hotel was a bit of a gamble as we don't know the Kamloops area that well. The hotel reviews were good but I always have a little hesitation booking a room where we've never stayed before. I'll gladly say we enjoyed the hotel so much that we stayed 2 nights, 1 on the way to the coast and one on the way back. The breakfast in the Blue lounge is recommended and the outdoor pool on the 2nd floor is a welcome retreat. We'd stay again without hesitation.
Breakfast was great.
Location and staff are great. Pool/spa area is very nicely designed and relaxing. Pool side service was prompt and friendly. Restaurant has a nice menu and interesting dishes.
Wifi throughput was poor and stalled several times during my stay.
I did not like having to pay for parking separately. I fee this does not befit a 4 star hotel. Do not like the unnecessary wait for service in the restaurant or lounge.
The staff was very friendly, especially at the pool. We had great service there, and enjoyed drinks and relaxed on the 2nd floor outdoor/rooftop pool. Very nice little spot.
The front desk clerk on the Saturday evening was condescending when we related that there was no where to park underground. He quite rudely assumed that we had prior knowledge of the outdoor parking facility for the casino and sarcastically stated that they have 150 rooms how could we think that everyone could park in the parkade. Attitude not appreciated, however the rest of the staff outshone him anyway.
The beds and linens were very comfortable. Liked that the curtains were thick so blocked out morning sun for good sleeping. Fantastic roof top pool and hot tub with food/beverage service. Lots of towels that were in good shape. Great stock of pool towels on deck as well.
Did not have a microwave so couldn't heat up leftovers at night. They only had one hook on back of bathroom door. Even with only two people in the room..... Each person is going to shower.... Where do they expect you to hang the other towels?? They should keep the access doors locked. A lot of people came from other hotels to use the pool!
Convenient to casino
Food choices from restaurant not suitable for everyone, also too expensive. They do not cook the food correctly when we do order breakfast & it's always greasy.
restaurant was super. staff were great
Outdoor pool Modern feel
Noisy air-con and fridge
checkin too busy with group
Good and beverage at the pool, the facilities at the pool
Restaurant - extremely poor service. Worst of our entire trip
Swimming pool is good. And room was clean. Parking is comfortable. Good market is just near the 540.
Hotel was great, pool excellent. Very clean, staff well mannered. 5 stars
The hotel never got my reservation through booking.Com. they did upgrade me to a suite due to this. I still give 5 stars
Excelent hotel, nice restaurant, comfortable and clean room.
No free parking, some noise from guests that stay up in the night coming from a party or the casino.
Very friendly personnel, stylish reception, guest zones, and room. Great to have a pool.
Somewhat limited view from hotel room.
Great hotel for those stopping over in Kamloops - incredible prices for such a nice place. It was very nice and we enjoyed our stay here compared to many other similar priced hotels across Canada. Would highly recommend!
Only downside is you have to pay extra for parking which is silly and they offer a breakfast deal which you can only claim on checkin (which you aren't warned about so we missed out)
The room was a decent size for a hotel. The rooftop pool and hot tub was great, especially after a long day motorcycling. Staff was extremely friendly and professional. Close to restaurants, shopping, and the casino.
A bit pricey.
Friendly staff, comfy beds, great restaurant
The pool area really sold this hotel to us and we were not disappointed we arrived early and were allowed to go up to the pool area to wait. We were offered drink by the staff and even told if they were not around when we wanted something that there was a phone to use so we could ask for what we needed. There isn't much to see in Kamloops itself and we were just passing through but die to the hotel we wanted to stay another night. Sadly they were fully booked but it wasn't a surprise, it's got to be the nicest hotel in the area and if I am passing through again would definitely stay again.
