The premise and the service
The cold and our short stay
Comfort of bed
That a personal item went missing from the room. It was in a bag in the closet and it was gone when I returned to the room.
No complimentary water in the room, every hotel I have been in Europe and Asia recently of this standard every day put 2 bottles of water as complimentary. Many even provide it in the gym too. There is a complimentary coffee and tea but how are you suppose to make it? With tap water? No way! Or pay high price mini bar water making that coffee not actually complimentary. With rates you have complimentary water even just on arrival wouldn't break the bank. I'm European and maybe is not normality here, but it would upgrade your services tremendously. Is details that count. Top hotels also do little good night thing, being it piece of chocolate or poem...it may sound insignificant but it adds up to whole experience.
Over all it was a good stay The entrance is extremely poor, reception and seating area also needs more thought. if you want to experience excellence in a Four Seasons Hotel I recommend you take note of Hong Kong staff
They charge 500CAD I wish if they refund it
15th floor suite spacious, luxurious and calm decor made for a really relaxing stay - most sound proofed hotel bedroom ever stayed in - comfortable bed - we would most definately return
Limitation on number of devices re wi fi availablity
The service was exceptional and personalized. We had our room cleaned by choice at 8pm daily so as to not disturb our dog while we were out. The concierge was excellent and 100% went out of their way to help make both us and our dog comfortable and well taken care of.
The front door was not attended. The car valet was not helpful, left the car to the side of the entrance, did not open doors. I would have expected at least as attentive as a Marriott for $40/day.
Positives: Location Front desk staff were on their "A" game Pool & gym area Bar area Lobby Secure elevators
Negatives: Horrible WiFi Lackluster valet staff (much time waiting for my car, not opening doors and somber faces) Design of valet area is terrible (constant bottle necking) Cheap toilet paper Large bathroom with one sink One tiny trash can in a large bathroom.
If u only have a week 2 live then u want to live at the 4 seasons! That is comfort!
I loved the room especially the bathroom. It was so modern.
I was very disappointed in the prices of the drinks at D bar. $23 for a martini is a lot over the top.
room, very nice, excellent bed, comfortable
food offerings on sunday evening in the BAR, limited, service a bit SLOW. needed more supervision !
Nice welcome and complimentary upgrade.
i like the confort of the room, the bathroom, casual but elegant
the front desk could give more informations at the check in (breakfast time, wifi connection code, time of the pool.....)
electric mirror - nice room
too expensive for me
We were there in late December 2014, and for our family we had 2 corner rooms. Nespresso-coffee machine, iPad, nice bar. Magnificent view - even from the bath tub ! Large bath room and entry hall (latter making the room remarkably quiet). Brand new hotel at a great location, close to shopping area. Nice lobby and doormen, exceptional staff at the reception, and not to forget the room-maid. Heating in the bathroom was fixed immediately (closed valve).
Very small SPA. At breakfast we would have preferred a buffet, instead of having to ask and wait for this and that. But this arguing on a very high level.
everything but rooms
rooms not well organized
Lovely bedroom. very helpful staff.
Prices very high. For example breakfast was itemised individually with 2 glasses of juice at £8 and so a few items ( toast, omelette coffee can set you back £60 for 2. Similar for spa etc. Other 5 star hotels have not charged £150 for a basic massage which we choose not to have.
Every aspect of the services we received (front desk at check in and check out, room service delivery, hotel restaurant cuisine, housekeeping services, valet parking) was absolutely first rate. Pleasant, efficient staff who made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Our rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, easily temperature controlled, and really quite stylish in design.
