Location was good for us en route to the Rockies Price was very cheap so not a lot expected of it Great little frontier style restaurant attached, worth visiting anyway
Lack of facilities, old style bathroom but no kettle, crockery or other items to help you with your own food Booking had been messed up so had to go in one of the staff chalets Bit of a smell with it as well Told a refurbishment plan is going ahead, it needs it
We have used the Frontier for years and find the rooms clean and comfortable for the nights we stayed. If you're looking for a large TV and WiFi you will not find it there, but for a night or two it is a Great value.
The tv had a lot of interference lines in it, and it was rolling some, maybe it needs replacing
The price is good location is OK
It was very old needs up grading

Rooms are tiny No Kitchen
We were impressed with the location because we came into Revelstoke by Greyhound Bus and it was in the same building.
Has been let run down. Still it was clean and suited our purpose of an overnight stop on the way to Canmore.
The waitress in the restaurant was friendly. The wifi and food was good.
The first room I was given had not been cleaned. The wifi in the rooms was weak or nonexistent.
The greyhound bus's running for hours right outside your door along with the guy in the next room snoring all night
For a senior couple it was a bit of fifties nostalgia. The adjacent Frontier restaurant was excellent
Comfortable bed, lowest prices in town.
Rates / Mice ate through our food at night - decor is seriously dated, staff were not very helpful, pretty run-down and just unpleasent generally.
The location of the Frontier Motel is great; close to town and really easy to find. Parking is also very accommodating, no matter what you drive. Views from the parking lot are pretty decent, as the town is surrounded by fairly tall mountains.
The rooms are way past their usefulness, short of bachelor camp workers. We walked in the entrance of room #7 and the floor literally sloped hard to the left. It was bad enough that we had to put the pillows at the foot of the bed to avoid sleeping with our heads downhill. The bathroom sloped 90` perpendicular to the rest of the room. While the towels and bed sheets seemed clean, the room had a definite feel of grime. The board walk on the outside of the rooms was very dilapidated; and that is being nice. No shampoo was supplied with the room, which I thought was odd, based on every other motel experience I've had. All in all, our stay was an "experience", but not one we'll intentionally repeat...
I booked online because of the price but would not have done so had I seen the property in advance. "You get what you pay for"
The rooms are tiny but clean. The building and grounds area are shabby. There is junk, cigarette butts, and dirt at the entrances. Suggest they demolish this place. Take the money and run!The restaurant looked filthy from front and back so did not dare to go in. Head for Denny's down the road.
It was convenient comparing to its price, and relatively clean.
For late chick in, the person in charge was not so friendly when answered the phone.
Great price. Close to amenities. Great food at the restaurant.
Walls to other rooms are thin. Conversations easily over heard from adjacent rooms. We could feel dresser drawers being closed from adjacent room while in our bed.
Great little motel to stop in for a night
The western theme was cool.
- told us the wrong room - given a smoking room when we booked non-smoking (small children were with us) - windows had no screens - no remote for the tv - tv was so old it wasn't working properly - the phone didn't work - all in all it was a complete dump
Easy to locate from the highway. Only $54 per night.
No soundproofing at all. Very dated/old furnishings and decor. They couldn't find our booking once we arrived, despite me showing our confirmation email, and we were "lucky" they had one room left.
Easy in/easy out. Spartan but comfortable. Quiet.
Nothing. Good value for the price.
Lack of reliable air conditioning. (+35) restaurant service size of the bathroom.
no bathroom tissue provided - had to run out to get one the sink was clogged telephone not connected
The price and the restraunt was good too
We just needed a place to sleep on our way through to Calgary. This hotel was older, clean, and definitely a great price and good location for a nights sleep.
We tried the on-site restaurant and ended up leaving as we were pretty much ignored by the waitresses. Denny's down the road got our business with very quick and courteous service.
It was inexpensive and basic. Everything worked, had a good sleep and hit the road early.
Parking was a bit confusing.
We walked in to filthy furniture and smelly room. It was the last room available and we did know that. Didnt expect such a dirty room. Air conditioner didn't work either.
