This is a fantastic hotel. A series of heritage buildings renovated about 20 years ago. The main building is filled with antique furnishings and just screams class everywhere. The staff are gracious and friendly at all turns. Breakfast is casual and cosy with good breakfast choices. Parking on site for free. Right in the heart of the city yet very peaceful. Lots of local art, restaurants, bookstores, and amenities within walking distance.

We absolutely love Charlottetown! There are many great restaurants and pubs; some down by the waterfront that are some of the best!! The Olde Dublin Pub, 131 Sydney Street, Charlottetown is energetic and exciting; young and enthusiastic and we are semi-retired and really enjoyed it. The background music could make you want to get up and dance. It really is one of the best places to go for an evening. Cost of food was as normal as it is in most other restaurants. We loved every minute of it.

This was my second trip to Charlottetown.
This was my second trip to Charlottetown. The first was many years ago. The city is abundantly interesting, with both older and newer buildings. The older ones are far more interesting. It has a very historic sense and feel about it. And of course, it is right on the atlantic, which makes it vastly more interesting. We went out there for the Anne of Green Gables tour and attractions, and even though you could see them easily within a day, they did not disappoint. People were generally quite down to earth and friendly.

I love this beautiful little city. Everything if you like to walk, is within walking distance. There is so much to offer. The intertainment is bar none, the music, food, history. And don't forget the theater. I am never disappointed when I visit. I go back each year.

Charlottetown is beautiful.
Charlottetown is beautiful. The Main Street leading down to the waterfront has many restaurants and stores. It is a very walkable area. Getting around to see everything was easy. Even driving to see the rest of Prince Edward Island was a breeze. The people wherever we went were extremely friendly and helpful.

I booked this hotel thinking it would be value for my money and it exceeded my expectations. It is perfectly situated downtown, walking distance from most attractions. The bed was superb, extraordinarily comfortable with great pillows. Rain shower was a nice touch. Reminded me of a nordic hotel, very clean, offering just the basics (e.g.., no TV but good wifi) and exceptional quality with friendly responsive staff. Will definitely stay again.
The Sonata Inn location was ideal. Walking distance to all downtown venues, about four blocks. The Victoria Park board walk was even closer, just across west street. The building itself is a wonderful Victorian home with its welcoming charm.
The owners and staff were great, making us feel very welcome and Breakfast included a hot option each morning.
We will plan on staying here next time we visit Charlottetown.
Very sweet family run facility. Excellent location for walking and site seeing. It is also located to easily accessible roads, to and from the airport, or for exploring beyond Charlottetown. Rooms are huge compared with a hotel. And a nicely furnished and extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
The breakfast is awesome and different daily.
Excellent downtown hotel. Classic decor which makes a very pleasant change from many corporate hotels. Good room, slightly small bathroom, good breakfast and dinner (poorly attended by residents which is surprising as so many downtown restaurants were only accepting ‘walk ins’ when we made phone enquiries. Free parking on site
The location is great, very close to the downtown of Charlottetown. You can drive to basically any famous viewpoint within 30mins, such as PEI national park, Anne of green gable, etc. and it is super close to the Cows creamery, it’s only 5 mins drive away. The breakfast is okay, typical American breakfast nothing stood out.
Lovely little BnB ran by the sweetest staff who are so helpful and accommodating. Every morning, they would greet you with a smile and make your breakfast how you like it. Rooms are cozy and big, there is free parking and excellent location so close to everything in downtown Charlottetown. Highly recommend!
This was our third stay at The Arts Hotel. We love the location and the fact that it's pet-friendly. You can walk everywhere downtown from the hotel and there are dining options within minutes of the hotel. The beds are comfortable.
Beautiful historic home, in a perfect location in downtown Charlottetown. The owners are friendly people who took great care in converting this heritage home into a lovely B&B. Can't recommend Prince Inn highly enough.p
The staff was amazing, gifted a goodie bag to our girls, attentive to all our requests.
Downtown Charlottetown and facing the harbour. Family friendly hotel with nice pool and hot tub.
Lovely old inn in beautiful part of Charlottetown, making for easy walks to downtown and Victoria Park. Parking off-street, no charge. Big room, just off breakfast area.
Location was perfect, close to downtown tourist district, and easy to get into. The hotel is a beautiful old hotel, very clean and the beds were super cofortable.
